First, it's want to start by saying that I have seen probably over 20 vets in the last few years for my special cat. I move often, and my cats health needs have been very complicated. Unfortunately, many of my experiences have been costly without much attention to detail.

The other day I saw Dr. Amelia, and she gave the most thorough examination my cat has ever had, and came up with a very detailed treatment plan to meet his specific situation. I felt like I learned more about my cat, his condition, and his past health history in that visit than I had ever known before.

If you have the chance, I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Dr. Amelia. She is compassionate, deeply dedicated to her work, and embodies everything you’d hope for in a veterinarian. Thanks to her, I finally feel confident that my cat has a treatment plan that will give him the best quality of life. "Grateful" doesn’t even begin to describe how I feel.

Rescued two kittens that were very sickly. I called Pahoa and they got me in right away to start treatment on them. So grateful for the kind staff. My cats both love coming here.

My experience with the receptionist on the phone was her being so short and rude with me, I understand if you guys are busy, but it is your responsibility and job to serve the community and stay professional. Will definitely book elsewhere. Not worth paying to be treated like that.

I am 71 on Social security. I have to count pennies to get by. My dog, Lucky, got some infection on his eye and I tried to clean it up but it became clear that he needed professional help. He had been at PAH before for a small problem so I really wanted to go to them but I was afraid that I could not afford it. They gave me a written estimate that was higher than I hoped but what they hell, this is my baby.
They gave him excellent care. Gave thorough tests and applied treatment. They gave him a short physical, complimented me on his overall health ( he's 11 years and 9 months) They gave me free antibiotics to take home
Then they told me that the estimate was wrong and that the bill was half of the old estimate.
So, I can't say enough about how happy and pleased they made me. Truly wonderful care. 5 stars

We have used this Vet since they opened for all of our animals.
They are friendly and well equipped.
The doctors however are incompetent. We brought our dog there for 2 surgeries to remove a "foreign body" in her neck, near the throat. They opened her up twice and were unable to detect a broken bone that, according to another vet, was plain as day on the imagery. This negligence cost us our precious dog's life as well as several thousand dollars and much undue trauma.

Use this vet only if you want an empty wallet and a dead dog.

Can’t recommend this place enough, everyone there is so friendly, caring and understanding. The doctors are all super helpful, and really care about the patients. Been with them for a while now and can’t imagine taking my cats anywhere else

Dr. Bill is GREAT! And everone else I've had contact with. This review is about a conversation I had with a nurse. My dog had a seizure and I brought her back for a blood draw.
I was trying to understand the information this nurse was giving me and stopped her from giving me numbers 4,5 and 6.
I was stuck on1,2 and 3.
She sounded annoyed and I commented that her customer service skills were not very good. She replied she was only there for the animals. Shocked. She told me I was being rude , told me the appointment was not happening today and HUNG UP THE PHONE. UNBELIEVABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE. Fortunately the manager's assistant provided me with the information I needed.

Dr. Bill, and staff genuinely seem to care about your fur babies. Prices are on the high end but it's well worth it!

I realize that this is a for profit enterprise however, their prices have gone up so much that it’s not affordable. The staff on the front desk seem to not be as friendly as when I first started and everyone seems edgy. Some of the new vet techs are unfriendly to the point of being rude.
