I am so impressed with the Bannock Humane Society! Our backyard fence got blown open allowing our dog to escape while we were away. A sweet lady picked her up and took her in. They quickly notified us and took care of our girl until we got the voicemail. They went above and beyond taking her back to our house making sure she went in through the doggy door and shutting our gate. We are so thankful for Daniel and everyone else who helped out with our girl.

There are many programs that happen at the Bannock Humane Society. They have a spaying and neutering program, and the pets get their vaccinations for a low cost! They also give pet food out on the third Wednesday of each month @5:00pm. There is also dog training that is done there throughout the week.

They do amazing things foe the community and their animals. They foster so many animals and then find homes for them. It's a really hard working group of volunteers and they work tirelessly for the animals. It's a great non-profit that doesn't get near the recognition and support they deserve. They always need food donations and have low cost/spay neuter programs.

Open only one day a week for one hour. A machine answers the phone when they are closed, and the line is busy when they are open for the one day a week and for one hour.

I adopted a female dog and everyone at the facility was so nice and gave us lots of free dog toys and doggie treats along with a blanket too for our new dog. Her name is Sophie and she is our new family member.

I went there because I was interested in meeting and adopting a dog. So I can't speak for all of the other critters they help. From my experience with the staff, and seeing their wonderful set-up, I would easily conclude from my own dog adoption experience that their tremendous efforts extends to ALL of the various animals they help. They are very knowledgeable about the needs of their adoptees and have wonderful people who foster various animals for them. The Society also puts in a lot of time and effort to pair the dog(s) with the best match for its individual needs to thrive and have wonderful forever home.
I did adopt the dog I went to meet today and so far she is fitting in greatly and is really happy and excited.

I have the three best experiences with my two cats and my dog I will always recommend this is a very well respected and no one place to adopt the best and the best thing about it is that you can walk back back back in and get free dog food and toys.
