We love our home town vet but his hours aren’t always conducive to when our pups get hurt- Viking Vet is ALWAYS OPEN (it’s Thanksgiving and we’re getting great care!). They are also very caring and have everything on site from X-rays to a full surgery suite so you pup can get the best treatment ASAP. We have been here with both of our large breed dogs and never had any issues with dog gear, a vet that wants to muzzle them, or any of the other things we have experienced at other places. The staff is amazing and again even on holidays, weekends, and late hours they treat you like family and your pet with love.

My dog was very sick and I brought her in at 4 AM. They were so incredibly compassionate. They were able to give me some options and prices but were very honest on her condition. And because of that I was able to bring my girl home, and have her put down in my own home. I cannot recommend them enough. Dr. Smith and her staff were incredible.

I cannot thank Viking enough!!! They saved my baby girl! She needed emergency surgery this weekend and they took her as a transfer from another vet. They took such good care of her and I was able to come visit her the next morning before she was released. The staff were so kind and sweet!

we took our cookie here. We lost her here too. I never thought I would lose my childhood best friend. I know it happens and she was ready but me being selfish I didn’t want it. But, I do want to say that everyone was so helpful and supportive in the process of letting my dog go. Thank you to everyone and doing all you could.

Wonderful people, they saw my dog immediately. They were able to resolve her issues right away. They were supporting, patient, and very kind. Their services were provided at what I consider to be a very reasonable rate. I highly recommend them if you are local or just traveling through the area.

While my regular vet does a decent job, sometimes if there is something deeper going on it can be hard to get them to look deeper. When in doubt, I always bring my babies here. I've had all 3 of my dogs and even a cat here and every single pet has received the greatest care, whether a general practice visit or an emergency. They treat your dog like family and they look deeper than some other vets do, so definitely take your pet here if you feel like you are at your wits end to figure out what your baby needs!

These guys are amazing. My puppy was being watched while my husband and I were out of town 5 hours away and unfortunately he got into a bottle of medicine. My mom rushed him here and they immediately got him to the back room and started working on him. They were absolutely amazing by calling me and going over everything needing to be done (while I was bawling like a baby), and they even went above and beyond when they sent me a video of my sweet boy. I highly recommend these guys. I will forever trust them with my dogs.

This vet is amazing. We had to bring in our senior dog and we did have to say goodbye as she was very sick. She was very well taken care of here during every part of the process. We were given all of our options and met with compassion and respect from all of the staff. I’d say this is the best vet in the area and I would recommend this place for anyone who wants the absolute best quality health care for their pets.
