I had to say goodbye to my best friend 2 weeks ago tomorrow. Healing Hands ER helped him as much as they could but he was tired and the doctor there who helped Franklin go over the rainbow bridge was the best .So nice and comforting. Franklin went peaceful with me whispering what a good boy he'd been to me and how much I loved him. I am lost and broken now. So I'm glad he got to go gentle into that good night at least.

We were sure we were at the point of making that hard decision for our 14 year old dog. He was so sick! But Healing Hands ran tests, gave us choices and after an injection and medications to go, within 15 minutes his chin was lifted, and the next morning he was back to his old self again. Vet and staff were amazing! Thank you!

Last week our 15-year-old Yorkshire Terrier had a stroke that she did not come out of. She could not walk and had a hard time lifting her head. It was awful to witness. She had been under the care of another vet in town for over two years for her heart, taking both heart pills and water pills. When Bell had her episode, her vet was too busy to take care of her. I sent a text to them at 3:00pm stating that she needed to be euthanized, and I was told I could bring her in at 3:30pm the following day. So, as she laid dying, we had the additional stress of finding a vet that would help us. That is when we found Healing Hands. When we arrived, there was a pretty long line of people, so my husband waited in the car with Bell, and I signed us in. After filling out some paperwork they took us in right away. They were kind and compassionate throughout the process. Today I received a wonderful symphony card which included Bella's footprints. They went above and beyond, understanding the trauma of losing a beloved pet and treating us with respect and compassion. As of this writing the vet I have taken my animals to for 6 years has yet to call or have any kind of correspondence with us. The treatment of others is just as important as their knowledge of medicine, and I would say that Healing Hands are outstanding at both.

I just want to say thank u to the staff at healing hands. I had to say goodbye to my 14 yr old cat Bella on 10/25/24 and they were all very kind, compassionate, and respectful as I said my final goodbye to my cat. I was with her til her last breath n the vet was so kind n caring. He explained to me what was going to happen and I appreciated that. She passed quickly and peacefully. Thank u all again.

I took my elderly cat here after I initially took him to a different veterinarian that kept him for 16 hours and returned him to me stating that he was "getting around just fine," He definitely wasn't. Healing Hands actually examined my kitty, looked him over really well, and got us a room inside of 20-30 minutes, if that. Now, my cat had always been a little feisty, but he was in pretty considerable pain when I brought him in, so he got downright MEAN with the poor staff while they very gently did their work, and at no point did they complain, I don't even think I heard any frustration in their voices, though it was warranted, instead I noticed only warmth and genuine concern for his well being.

Unfortunately my kitty cat had what's called a 'Saddle thrombus,' Basically a large blood clot that paralyzed his lower body, making it difficult if not impossible to excrete waste let alone get around. And given his age, recovery was unlikely, and treatment would probably only prolong his suffering, so I did unfortunately elect to put him down after talking things over with the veterinarian, who explained things very gently, but in a straightforward manner that I deeply appreciated.

They gave me all the time I needed with him after they sedated him to ease his pain, I was probably in there grieving with my family for an hour before I gave them the go ahead to bring him peace. The person giving the injections was gentle, and professional, and gave my family the usual warnings of what can happen immediately post-mortem so that we weren't surprised or scared by anything, and afterwards, we were again, given all the time we needed.

A few days later, they had his ashes for me along with a lovely card bearing his paw prints, these things mean the world to me.

These people are kind, compassionate, imminently professional, and above all, GENTLE and very very good at their jobs and deserve the highest praise and respect. I will recommend them to anyone that has a critically ill pet from here on out. I cannot recommend them highly enough, and honestly, I just wanted to thank all of you again for taking such amazing care of my Koda.

They were awesome. Very compassionate. I brought my senior cat Evelynn in to put to sleep...very emotional evening for me. They gave me time to say goodbye and I stayed through the process. I chose to have a private cremation. I hope to adopt another senior cat one day and plan on using Healing Hands as my go to Vet.

Frustrated with them tonight. Our regular vet couldn’t get us in and recommended going to healing hands. My dogs issue was not an ER issue. Felt like I wasn’t treated seriously even though my dogs ear has been busting open and bleeding everywhere almost every time she shakes her head. Staff should be mindful that taking in the back carries to exam rooms. Told them she wouldn’t tolerate a cone and was right-bandage they applied was off about soon after she was home because she was shaking her head continuously (which I told them that would happen).

My wife took our puppy in to be looked at, and this so called veterinary service business turned her away and claimed that my dog has parvo, however they ran no tests to back up this claim. My dog is not exhibiting any symptoms of parvo, hasn't ever been around any other animals outside of our home, yet, they were so certain about this diagnosis that they threatened to call the police to have her removed when she refused to leave and begged for our puppy to be looked at properly and actually be diagnosed and given proper treatment. This is straight up 100% republican greediness at it's finest. Always looking out for the money, because you can't charge someone when you fix the problem can you? At least now we know why no body knows Idaho exists. This state doesn't offer anything useful.
