Absolutely appreciative of the staff here. My cat started sneezing and I discovered he had a tooth infection; Prairie got him in right away for a dental and extractions. When I picked him up he looked great and when we got home he was back to his happy, playful, pain-free self. They staff were so kind and answered all my questions and helped me know what to keep an eye out for as he is a young cat who is apparently prone to dental disease, which was something my other cats had never had before. They also were able to stay in the financial budget I had for him which was awesome. Now I know what to keep an eye out for and we can stay on top of his care. Thank you Prairie staff so much!

My wife and I came here to have our pets checked out over the older place we were going to. They were awesome! My dog was not happy at the older place, the vet and tech that helped us out were amazing with him. I couldn't believe it. I'll definitely feel like I can go here and trust them with our animals. It was the best visit we have had ever. They seemed to actually like pets and helped both our cat and dog with no issues at all.

We had to take our pup in to be spay, then for a strain in her neck, then because our deaf dog was screaming in pain, the vets helped us to figure out our pup wasn't hurting, but rather finding her voice and, that just so happened to be the screaming. Lol. They were patient and kind as they have always been. We are loyal customers and will continue our pets care here.

I just wanted to give recognition to the outstanding, attentive, and compassionate care my Dam and pups recieved at Prairie. Mr. Nicholson did a last minute Ceaserian on my Dam who's labor wasn't progressing. He took him time with closing her up and doing it right. Thank you Dr. Nicholson and staff! I have been coming here with my pets for years and we get great care from the team here. They are compassionate to my fur babies and have taken amazing care of them! They always make it a priority to get us seen when emergencies have come up. It’s a great comfort to me to have a team I can trust to take care of my fur babies!!

Staff was great, incredibly courteous to my wife and I when thinking we had to put our 14yo dog to sleep. Offered plenty of suggestions and got us in on short notice considering the circumstances. Doctor followed up with us. Will definitely be back.

Came to town for job contract but company failed to provide adequate housing for me and my travel companions. Karen, the kennel manager, and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful. They boarded my pups, got all the shots updated while boarded, and provided recommendations for longer term solution while I looked for housing. Karen is knowledgeable and obviously has extensive experience as she easily bonded with my problem child. She sent pictures and updates. The rest of the staff is friendly, helpful and professional. I highly recommend Prairie.

Prairie was with us through the loss of our pet and family member, Sadie. She was a silver lab who became terminally ill due to a significant cancer mass in her chest. Prairie was compassionate, supportive, prompt, and provided the best professional care even despite the heartbreaking circumstances of having to deliver the news of her condition and the need for end of life services just a few days before Christmas.

It was devastating for our family, especially our kids during Christmas. We made an addition to the family, which can never replace Sadie. Our new baby black lab Charlotte was welcomed with open arms, boundless kisses, and snuggles by all staff at Prairie Animal Hospital. This is our office for every sniffle, checkup, and accident. It is nice to have this community on my side because they truly have hearts of gold. I got to witness that through the loss of our loved one and the welcoming of a new family member.
