Great place to shop with wonderful service. The people are nice, friendly, and always willing to help. Savana helped me out this time and she is great to talk to. Plus, the best thing is that the money goes to helping the animals at the shelter and programs; such as, chipping and vaccinations for cats and dogs.

I had to give my cat up for adoption. This group could not have been kinder to my kitty. Moreover, the were very sensitive to the my pain of giving my cat to adoption. They found a family for my cat within a week. I was impressed at how large and clean the facility was. All the animals get daily loving care. Adjacent to the animal center is the thrift store item donation center. I bought two pair of basketball shoes, new denim jeans and a wool shirt for less than $15. Today I saw a 10-speed bike in ready to ride for seven dollars. They are dedicated to all things involved with pets and owners and the mutual blessings that occur between pets and people.

The manager has since reached out and cleared up the misunderstanding over the position, but I've decided to keep this review up to make up for the fact I didn't stand up for myself back then and hope it can further prevent anything like that from happening again.

A couple years ago I went through a devastating loss right at the same time that I found a litter of kittens I assume someone dumped on my property, which happens quite a bit. Usually, I watch out for them, make sure that the mom is or isn't around and leave them if they're doing well or intervene and care for them and find them homes accordingly. This time, I had no means to do that and after almost a week of no mom cat, these kittens were starving and starting to get aggressive. I had taken strays here before and was treated well and even given honest updates on them after. I called BTAA SEVERAL times for these kittens in hopes of getting an appointment or talking to someone, no one would pick up or get back to me. I brought them in, as their website said was an option and proceeded to (I really wish I was exaggerating) get screamed at and verbally assaulted by one of the ladies working there for not calling and making an appointment. She went as far as to call me names and a slur while the rest of the staff stood back and watched it and did nothing. I cried in the parking lot after she aggressively took the kittens and kicked me out. The manager at the time called after someone else made a report and profusely apologized, told me I did everything right and she'd make sure it didnt happen again so I did my best to forgive and forget. A couple months ago, I got a job interview with the new manager, which I was very excited for, who praised me, offered me a position and made me think I was going to have a fantastic time working there only to be completely ghosted and ignored and stone walled after. I tried to reach out to see if it was something I had done or said and still got nothing. Now I'm embarrassed and left wondering if those two events were correlated and upset that I even gave them a chance after how genuinely awful I was treated and frustrated I continued supporting their shelter. I had wanted to volunteer if I wasn't given the position because I really love and care for animals and instead feel that they're punishing me for it in the end

We found our beautiful girl here and we took her home. We immediately booked her vet appointment to make sure she was doing good, she was missing some clumps of hair and we were a little concerned. It’s been only a week since we took her home and she’s lost 60% of hair on her once beautiful, fluffy tail. She’s missing clumps of fur all over her body, constantly itching and licking and scratching. Turns out she had ring worm! A highly contagious fungal infection that can spread to humans, cats and dogs! Additionally, she had ear infections in both ears and was spayed only a day before put up for adoption. She’s getting the care she needs and is expected to do so much better. Regardless, I’m very disappointed that they had a very obviously contagious, freshly spayed cat in the social rooms with other cats. And I’m disappointed they allowed her to be adopted out without KNOWING she was healthy. She will be loved and spoiled with us in her forever home, it’s just upsetting it had to start off this way.

This place is amazing they help the animals no kill shelter and they have it thrift store attached to help support the animals they bring in and other animals they even help me find my dog once great place and if you're looking for a pet you can definitely get one that you know is taken care of and if it's good for your family they check all of them that come in Great place great people.

We got our cats here and they are the best cats in the world no one can compare to them. Our dog kept on running away and then they would take her but they would take wonderful care of them. <3
