The staff were extremely knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. The veterinarian took time to explain options and answer questions in a clear way. They handled a distressing situation with professionalism and expertise. Plus, the facility is incredibly clean and new, and has amenities to ease the long wait times found at any veterinary ER.

I am very disappointed. I was about 30 mins late. I understand I was in the wrong, I had went to the wrong location. I explained myself and apologized. There were no other customers there- it was dead silent, no music. I can hear the vet techs talking bad about me while I’m out in the waiting room while they work on my dog. So unprofessional and inconsiderate. I understand being irritated about me being late, but there’s absolutely no reason to talk trash loudly where the customer can hear (or at all). Then of course act super nice to me afterwards. They also claimed to clean my dog’s ears, but I just looked and they are still covered in wax.

A terrible experience! My dog near death in desperate need of help. Of course I can't just bring him in the door. I have to scan a barcode Then wait for someone to come outside. My poor dog out of the truck can barely stand. Desperately needs an IV completely dehydrated in near death. Rather than attempting to get my dog inside and get him help, the very unprofessional veterinarian assistant came outside. Asked me a bunch of questions and interrupted me every time I began to answer. I begged her that I just needed to get my dog some help. I think she interrupted me before I got that part finished as well. After going back and forth for a minute she finally told me they didn't administer IV fluids. These people don't listen. They don't care about your story. They jump to conclusions and talk at you. The best thing I did was run from that place as fast as I could and go right down the street to treasure valley veterinary hospital where the service was great and their love and care for my dog went above and beyond. They listened. They understood and they cared.

This year was the first time we’ve ever used West Vet urgent care. Our first encounter was in February. One of our senior dogs passed away. And knowing that our normal hours for our vet was closed. We were not able to go through them. I came across West Vet, and they took incredibly good care, and sensitive to our needs. Then, in October and November. Sadly, we had to reach out to them again. They were caring sensitive, and the prices are not overly priced from what I’ve seen. I recommend them as they were genuinely caring. Thank you to the team. That assisted us and our time of need

Highly recommend! The staff was fantastic. I took my pup in because she was shaking and yelping when I put a little pressure on her belly. They got us in quickly. They also worked with my regular Vet to get information they needed. The doctor was very thorough. I felt like my little Nana was in good hands. Thank you for talking good care of her!

Extraordinary knowledge base plus compassion!! Have used WestVet ER twice now and both times have been outstanding!! Now will be seeing a specialist in Internal Medicine and no doubt that will be extraordinary as well!!! So grateful to have such quality urgent/emergency/on-going care here in the Treasure Valley...

10/10 My dog had an eye injury. They got us right in and were very competent. The bill was even reasonable for 7pm no appointment.
