I highly recommend Pawspital Animal Hospital! First, the staff, Hannah and Megan, were so friendly and attentive to me and my pup, Abby. They really cared! Second, Dr. Smith came in the exam room, found me sitting on the floor comforting my dog and sat down right beside us. He was very compassionate, knowledgeable, and thorough - asked a lot of questions to make sure he understood Abby's medical history. Dr. Smith presented several different treatment options, giving me the pro's and con's of each but ultimately let me decide the best option for Abby.

I highly recommend taking your pet to see Dr. Smith! (as a bonus this is a brand new, clean, beautiful clinic that smells great!!)

He took the time to explain what was going on with my dog what my options were yet made sure that I wasn’t feeling pressured into doing any procedures or making a decision right away. I found the experience at our new veterinary, Dr. Smith at Pawspital wonderful. The entire staff was friendly and attentive. Dr. Smith took quite a bit of time as we established care for our two fur babies. He took our concerns seriously and was willing to do some additional research so he could recommend the best course of action for our little “smorkie” that has debilitating anxiety from fireworks and thunder. He answered my many questions on things like ear hair, dental care and paw licking. The icing on the cake is we are only blocks away from our new veterinary!

Finding a vet to establish care is like finding an adult a primary doctor… wasn’t able to get in until Dec or Jan. Met Pawspital at Meridian Trunk or treat and decided to give them a call the next day. Receptionist was super friendly and helped me get an appointment that very day. Location is beautiful but off the beaten path from the main road of McMillan and Ten mile. Dr. Smith was amazing! He took the time to describe things that my pup was going to be needing and reassured me that I have a very happy healthy (pre Madonna) dog. I also like that he didn’t disapprove of what I was feeding my dog like most vets do. I am so happy to of came across them and will be taking Oden to go see them for years to come.

Dr. Smith provided phenomenal care for our newly adopted lop/lionhead. We needed to get him neutered so we could begin the bonding process with our other girl. He was able to get us in for a consultation quickly and the operation less than a week later which was phenomenal since it was around the holidays. I was so nervous about him going under, Dr. Smith was honest but so sensitive to my concerns each step of the way. Not having an exotic vet local has been challenging, I’m always concerned about the level of experience or knowledge a provider has about rabbits, but hearing Dr. Smith talk about two of his own made me feel so relieved. He called me personally every step of the way, and even offered to call to check on his recovery. So thankful that I found him and that he has chosen to provide great veterinary care to our small bunny friends. Their lives matter too!

My dog needed a follow up X-ray and our regular vet was booked. I called Pawspital and the friendly staff got me in that day. The facility was clean and friendly. The staff were all great and prompt. The Dr. was kind, explained everything and was upfront with pricing. They even followed up the next day to make sure my dog was okay.
