This place is a sham. I visited here several months ago because I had a bad cough that was keeping me up at night and causing extreme pain. When I was seen by the doctors/nurses, they ran some tests, said everything seemed fine, gave me some cough medicine, and sent me on my way. The cough persisted and still bugs me till this day.
About a week later, I received a bill in the mail for over $1,300. The details section showed that the tests and cough medicine would have only cost $200, but for some reason, the entire visit came out to $1,300
I've called their business office over a dozen times, leaving messages, asking for them to call me back, but I have never spoken to anyone. I live out of state, so it's not like I can just march in there and demand an explanation.
When I had pneumonia and went to an urgent care near me, they did many more tests, breathing treatments, and even x-rays, and that only came out to $250.
If these guys would just pick up the phone and explain things to me, mabey I wouldn't be so mad, but this is just ridiculous.
Don't go here. They'll do the bare minimum and charge you a month's rent for 10 minutes in a dirty hospital room.

absolute thieves. $2,000 dollar charge for a 45 minute visit to get 3 Stitches. It took the billing department over a week to call me back and when I question the charges for such a small visit he assured me that he has seen way worse charges than that.

Look, I'm not looking to insult anyone. I'm extremely injured and Dr. Levager basically told me I'm fine. My broken ribs are grating against eachother! But yeah, no new injuries, right?

I don't respect doctors on their own behalf. While they were going to a classroom every day, most real men were working.

I also had to diagnose mysyelf, no trust!

10/15 update. After getting x-rays in IF turns out the doctors in Teton Valley missed two broken vertebrae and a broken neck(spinous process) in 2021. I can read an x-ray better than the doctors at Teton valley hospital, seriously!

I have to emphasize, do NOT go to Teton valley hospital! It already has bad reviews, and I have experienced that myself. St. John's in Jackson is a much better hospital.

My husband suffered a stroke and he has received so much more care and needed therapy in this wonderful Swing-Bed program in the first two days than from 2 weeks at a large hospital. The doctors have spent much more focused time on his needs, tried new medications to help with the dizziness, and treated my husband holistically rather than just treating the acute physical stroke damages. The staff at TVH is professional, kind, caring, and very dedicated to meeting all the goals of the patient... not just putting in the Medicare set time and shuffling you on to home health care. He is receiving 3 hours of therapy every day, and they are taking the time to educate and teach so he can improve his health for the long run. From this excellent experience we can now see how he can come home again. I highly recommend this hospital.

I have had the most frustrating experience with the billing department of this hospital. I had the misfortune of needing care for a UTI on a Saturday which meant I could only be seen by the emergency department. Huge mistake. They billed me $800 to pee in a cup, throw a dipstick in it and tell me I do indeed have a UTI. This was back in June. I was shocked at the bill but quickly got on a payment plan for what my family could afford. Another misfortune was my wallet went missing shortly after this. So I paid 2 months or so on the bill, and then had to cancel the card this automated payment was attached to. Que 10 WEEKS of calling the hospital billing department to try and get my new card on my account to continue my payment plan as scheduled. Not a single call was answered and my voicemails were never returned, however they still found the time to mail me a paper letter threatening collections and demanding I call them immediately. Finally I randomly get a hold of someone and when I say that I want to just get my old payment plan back up and running he says “you can’t pay that little. You have to pay at least x amount every month.” I told him I can’t afford that and they already approved the first plan months ago. He tells me I have to come into the office and speak with him. I then ask if I can please put $50 towards my payment that day on the phone and he says no, he won’t accept anything before I come in person. So I just start paying what I can afford manually on the patient portal every month (something I didn’t figure out I could do until this point)
. I have not missed a month of paying a decent amount on this bill that I can afford in 4 months but I was still receiving collections threats via mail even though I payed them every single month at least $50, sometimes more, just whatever I could afford that month. Now all of a sudden I’m locked out of my patient portal and suddenly can’t pay for this month and may have been sent to collections. This hospital billing department is robbery and care nothing for the actual patient and their need to feed their family. Save yourself a huge burden and drive the hour to Rexburg.

I blew out my shoulders skiing at Targhee on the 22nd. Was taken to the emergency room and everything was done professionally. It was painful until they put the shoulder back in and that stopped all the pain. They could not put it back in safely until they did x-rays and MRIs and even a CAT scan
They were very thorough
but it was painful while we're waiting for the results and they kept a smile on my face with morphine, they've got a great Crew
They responsd to your needs,

P.S. Carla in records had my images and reports in the hands of my surgeon, back in "rado" promptly.

Megan, the director of the specialty clinic, is amazing! She went 1000% over and beyond to help me with an issue I was having. This isn't the first time! Every time I need help or have a question, I can always count on Megan to be there to help me to the best of her ability. Along with my Doctor, Dr. Smith, navigating through my illness is made so much easier with such a wonderful caring staff. Thank you for your excellence!
