The staff at Adobe Veterinary Animal Care have been uniformly pleasant and knowledgeable. Whenever I’ve called in for information or to set up an appointment they’ve been able to help. They’ve been efficient and flexible. The doctors my cats have seen have also been people I’d recommend to friends with pets. My cats have always been treated affectionately and professionally. Cats can be easily spooked or frightened by strange people and surroundings. At Adobe they leave in a much calmer state than when I brought them in. The care is thorough and I get regular updates when they need their shots & vaccines. I’ve also been given good advice on care tips. I was especially pleased when one vet gave me the name of another service for dental care because it is less expensive. I’d say that is honest and genuinely helpful to do. She really cared about my cat!

The staff at AVC are extremely kind and professional. They were the only place willing and able to fit our fur baby into their schedule and also find a way to get the emergency dental procedure he needed done in a timely manner (other places were quoting 4-8 weeks). They had a sign welcoming him to the practice on our first visit and called afterwards to make sure the treatment was working. The vet even called personally to deliver test results. They kept us informed about treatment options. Their prices seem reasonable considering the amount and type of care received. I feel confident in the care my fur children will receive. We're so glad to have found them.

We have been going to Adobe for the last nine years. We’ve always been impressed with their kindness willingness to answer questions in genuine love for the animals. On one occasion, we had to bring one of our mini pigs in to be seen. He ended up being dehydrated and needed to stay to receive necessary hydration. Dr. Hood called me at one point because she received an emergency call and told me that our little guy was doing well and was stable and would it be OK if she left her patient to tend to the emergency.
This level of Respect to our little guy was beyond impressive. I recommended them to many of my friends. Thank you, Adobe for all you do and the peace of mind that you give your patience and families.

Let me preface this review as I rarely write bad ones. My dog, Hurley, was diagnosed with acute bronchitis in October by Adobe Veterinary Clinic. On Monday of last week, I took him for an appt and he was diagnosed with pneumonia. I was told by the vet and tech to call and bring him back in if his condition worsened. On Thursday, I called to let them know that his breathing was short and labored and coughing up blood, and asked to bring him in, change the medication, anything to help. They did not see him, and said to stay the course, and take him to emergency if his gums turned blue, even though I emphasized my fear that he was in decline. By Saturday morning, he was still having issues with his breathing and had become lethargic, and in rapid decline. I called and asked Adobe to please get him in. The response was that they had no openings, no work ins, would see him on Monday if necessary, and that they would get his vet (who was not at the clinic) to write a referral on Monday to see a specialist. By Saturday night at 9:00 PM, he was in dire need for hospitalization. I took him to Civano VCA as an emergency. They did all they could, but Sunday morning at 4:00 AM, we had to euthanize him. It is today Monday, and I have yet to hear back from them for a referral, though it doesn’t matter now! I am very upset and disappointed with Adobe Veterinary Clinic for not seeing my dog when he needed their help. It doesn’t make a difference if the vet that was treating him is not in. I don’t like the idea of the techs telling me that they will pass the message on to the vet who is there that day, so that they can look over his chart and then, not return my call until later in the day! There is a definite disconnect. I’m not sure if the result of Hurley’s death would have been different, but your veterinary practice should be able to make room for an emergency appt with one of their paying and loyal clients. I will not be using their services again nor will I recommend them if anyone asks! Fred Phillips

Love Adobe vet team!
I am very picky with veterinary care for my animals & I am so glad to have a veterinary clinic that I can trust. I love how professional, kind, and knowledgeable everyone was during my rescue horses eye surgery.
I commute from a hour and it is so worth it.
Super excited to have an amazing vet team for my horses, goats, cat, dog, and bird. ?

Just brought in our 5 month old pot belly pig Ziggy for his first check up and his vaccines, We were greeted by a young woman at the front desk she was very nice and helpful took us into a room. Dr Ivanecky and the tech Georgia were both very nice and caring and very professional.The office is very clean . I would highly recommend this business. Thank you for a great experience for Ziggy.

The Pima County Animal Shelter has dogs in 4x larger space than this place's dog kennel. I made the mistake of putting my dogs here for 5 days. I wouldn't recommend this place for kenneling. They called the first day saying they were not eating fully and it was normal for being kenneled initially. Which it is. Zero calls afterwards. Fast forward to when I pick them up 4 days later to be told they only ate maybe half their food, are vomiting, having projectile diarrhea, were not touched or let out by staff during their stay, and were blanketed off from the other dogs, and that maybe next stay they should be in their "premium kennel" (no idea what that is or what it means. Nowhere in any of the paperwork I filled out).They have had dog sitters for multiple days before without issues. I thought I would try a professional kennel for our family vacation because I was worried they would need extra care because of how long it was (5 days). Wow is all I can say. I couldn't recommend this place any less. It was our first and last time using any of their services.
