The nursing staff was so welcoming and kind for my stay. They let me ask so many questions as I’m getting ready to start my own CNA training. They were straightforward and explained all that was going to happen with my surgery and were on top of my care. My doctor was also amazing. He made sure that I was comfortable and fully understood what was going to happen in the surgery. The whole staff was so encouraging and funny. Madison Memorial, you are amazing at picking the best staff ever!

I would give negative stars if I could. I went to the ER last year when I had complications from a hysterectomy. I was in so much pain, but they couldn't be bothered. They ran tests and saw that my white cell count was through the roof. The doctor kinda shrugged and said he wasn't sure what that meant because he couldn't find out exactly why it was so high. I was sent home in so much pain and discomfort. And was told, good luck! I called my OBYGYN the next day and when I told him I went to Madison Memorial, he told me never to go there. He told me to go to Mountain View in Idaho Falls, which I did. They immediately admitted me. I ended up needing another surgery to clean out an internal infection that they were able to figure out quickly but Madison couldn't (even after running a bunch of tests). The doctors and nurses at Mountain View were SO much more invested and kind. I ended up staying in the hospital for a week. I healed up perfectly from the surgery. I can't imagine what would have happened to me if I'd just gone home and hadn't gone over to Mountain View. NEVER EVER again will I go to Madison for anything. And to add insult to injury their billing is a hot mess. Their left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Every in the billing department needs an overhaul. It is 100 percent worth the 30 minute drive to Mountain View. Also their billing department was so incredible easy to work with unlike Madison.

The staff at Madison Memorial Hospital for the labor and delivery, momma and me (the post partum care) and the NICU were all wonderful for me and my family! The doctors safely delivered my twins even with the complication of a breech delivery for the second child and they were extra prepared for if it got even more complicated and I needed an emergency C-section (which thankfully it didn’t come to that!) They put my needs and the baby’s needs as a priority. The people were friendly and really just wanted to make sure we were okay! And when things got late and we were tired and everyone else was tired they still helped when we needed things. People aren’t always perfect but they were professional and wanted to make sure that everything went okay!

The food also is really great which is not something one often hears about hospitals. But I looked forward to my meals while we were admitted for our stay!

Lastly they were more than forthcoming with any help or information we asked for as we prepared for this next stage in our life with little ones. Anything from a lactation consultant, feeding help, diaper changing and swaddle instructions, it was all there for us if we wanted and needed!

And I always will recommend leaving your newborn with them the first night so you can get some proper rest after delivery. Not only for the rest but it was what saved my first son’s life as they monitored him that night and caught when he suddenly couldn’t breathe well because of a collapsed lung. They took him to the NICU and he was able to fully recover with their care!

I would add photos but I look very tired from delivery in most all of them haha! But thank you very much Madison Memorial Hospital staff!

Even though I arrived really early for my appointment, they got me right in. The Medical Assistant and Provider spent LOTS of time gathering information from me and providing options to consider. They didn't seem rushed at all. They were very prompt in getting back with me on my medical records.

Madison Infusion Center is awesome!!! From walking in and being greeted first by Brodee to being taken back and helped by the most caring nurses. Emily, Kesley, Kris, Jessica. I know there are more but i cannot remember names. Also Norma is a great phlebotomist too. They are all top notch in my book!
