All of our fur babies are going there. The doctors are very attentive, very thorough, and caring. Great "bedside manner" for their four legged patients. We actually make our trips to fly or drive 12 hrs from NC to IL for the animals to see their doctors. And the costs are very reasonable.

Been to them years on and off, have always been so helpful understanding with my pets and recently had to sadly put down my old man due to pneumonia they were very supportive throughout, sent me a sympathy card signed by the whole staff and my big babies paw print. They are always so caring

After my furbaby was diagnosed with being a dog who jumped on furniture and had him almost die from pancreatitis, because of a vet who should have retired. We chose Meller-James. Who were kind and understanding when we were frantic and new patients with a very sick fur baby.
They became our family doctor since 2013. They welcomed new members of our family and comforted us when we had to send them home. Knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, sincere, and patient. If we cannot have Meller-James and their entire staff. We will have zero fur babies.

First let me say I’ve been taking our pets here for several years and have always had wonderful experiences, except for once, in the past. However, there has been a newer support staff there for about a year now that has consistently given attitude for no reason since she first appeared. I have repeatedly dismissed her and continued to bring our pets here because I like the vets. The last time, however, said personnel person took it upon herself to attempt to shame us for the frequency of our preventative pill purchases, which I feel is just bad customer service and honestly none of their business. Our pets are well cared for and never have been afflicted with disease or malnutrition. I will spare the details but am sad to say after years of great services and hundreds of dollars spent here we will not be back. A vet is like a dr., if they can’t treat you with respect, we will take our business elsewhere.

Front desk help has an additude problem. We will not be back. They leave sticky notes on your pets prescription on their unqualified opinions on how to take care of them. Go there and see for yourself on the terrible unfriendly demeanor of the front desk help.

The staff is always so kind and helpful. The doctors are caring, passionate, and empathetic. I trust them implicitly with all my pet care needs. The vet techs are always super helpful as well as knowledgeable with any questions needed.
