Full of gratitude for The Whole Pet. I transitioned my baby, Luna, to this practice less than a year ago. She is a senior dog experiencing a plethora of health concerns from a heart condition, to dental infections, GI distress and overall body inflammation.

The care here is completely unmatched. The length of their initial visit goes to show how they aim to understand all facets of your pet’s health scope. The integrative approach takes into consideration the bio individuality of each pet. Never have I felt rushed or as if my concerns were bypassed. Multiple times, they were able to get Luna in last minute for emergency visits. For every test, lab work, or product they recommend is all intentional and purposed.

They also recommended us to the Dental Veterinary Center for her full dental extraction and I couldn’t help be more grateful for the care received there. Luna has seen all the vets and they are incredible. She most recently has been seeing Dr Tartof and I want to extend my gratitude for how patient she has been with our visits. The ladies at the front, along with the techs are so kind, genuine and helpful as well. Everyone works as a collective.

I wish every animal could receive love and care through The Whole Pet!

This place is by far the Best Vet I've ever gone to and I'm in rescue so that's saying a Lot! The vets and all the staff are so caring and attentive. The care is holistic and comprehensive. The office atmosphere is calm and relaxed. I cannot recommend enough!

The pics show my 18 year old Super Senior, Izzie, getting her weekly acupuncture, chiropractic, and cold laser therapy. This along with medication and herbs, help manage her arthritis pain and chronic kidney disease. We are very fortunate to have them so close by.

Prices are slightly higher than the high traffic vets around, but the care and service we receive is more than worth it. I wish more vets were like The Whole Pet and offered the holistic services and care.

As a pet owner, finding a veterinarian you trust and can rely on is of the utmost importance. That's why I cannot recommend The Whole Pet enough! Dr. Salee and her staff are truly amazing and have been taking care of my five dogs for the past nine years.

From routine check-ups to more complex medical issues, Dr. Salee and her team have always provided top-notch care. They take a holistic approach to veterinary medicine, which means they consider the whole animal - body, mind, and spirit - when providing care. This approach has helped my dogs thrive, even as they age.

In particular, Dr. Salee has worked wonders with my 14-year-old dog who has an autoimmune disease. She has kept him going strong and has helped us manage his condition in a way that allows him to live a happy and comfortable life. Both of my senior dogs, who are 70 lbs and 50 lbs respectively, are 14 years old and act like they are 10 - all thanks to the amazing care they receive at The Whole Pet.

The staff at The Whole Pet are also incredible. They are always friendly, helpful, and genuinely care about the well-being of my pets. It is clear that they love what they do and are passionate about providing the best possible care for their patients.

Overall, I cannot say enough amazing things about The Whole Pet. Dr. Salee and her team provide exceptional care and truly go above and beyond to ensure the health and happiness of their patients. If you're looking for a veterinarian who will treat your pets like family, The Whole Pet is the place to go!

Very pleased with all of our experiences here. My dog started visiting in winter of 2021, so roughly a year. He had tweaked his back, was walking with a slight limp and was no longer taking stairs. A different vet quickly recommend spinal surgery, but we wanted a second opinion.
Dr. Tartof started him on a regimen of acupuncture and chiropractic work. Later we added some exercises at home and supplements. He's a changed dog.
Even the groomers have commented on how much better he moves. You'd never know there was an injury and his puppy energy is back. Best of all, Dr. Tartof's recommendations have gradually reduced, reflecting the healing that's happened. We're not on an endless cycle of visits, only what's appropriate.
The team is polite and friendly, we feel welcome and have received excellent care.

We have been going here for years, taking all 4 of our animals. The last few interactions have been extremely poor with the last being completely unacceptable. My wife was turned away with our one year old son with the office manager saying their policy was sent through text. My wife made the appointment and was never physically told the policy. We drive almost an hour there and her making my son sit in his car seat for 3 hours was not an option. We also could not send our 14 yr old dog in alone as we were afraid with his increased anxiety of setting him into a panic attack. Unfortunately, with all of the money, time, and energy we have put into this place, it was basically told to us that they did not care if we ever return. Careless and insensitive management of the office.

Took my dog here for the first time and had a great experience. After having a rough time with allergies and a horrible experience at our previous vet, the staff here gave us a thorough treatment plan and options. The staff was so helpful and kind to our dog. Definitely would recommend this place!

I have had dogs for most of my life (more than a couple decades) and have generally felt frustrated and/or annoyed or upset after leaving veterinary appointments with my dog as we don't always see eye to eye on things like nutrition, vaccinations, and preventative care. I had just lost my senior dog recently and now have a new puppy, so was in search of a vet that I shared beliefs with about these issues. I did a lot of online googling and finally decided I would make our first vaccination appointment with The Whole Pet. I sent an online inquiry via their website for an appointment. Their reception staff called me the next day to gather some additional details about us, walk us through their policies, and book our appointment. The woman I spoke with was super pleasant and helpful and seemed to know her job well. She emailed me some forms to fill out and return. She let me know what to expect at the appointment with COVID restrictions, and how long the appointment would last. They required a $75 deposit as a new patient to hold my appointment which I was happy to pay. While I was at the appointment yesterday I had met 4 staff members. Each one of them seemed happy to be there and despite the masks, seemed to be smiling and were all very friendly towards myself and my puppy. The appointment was about an hour and 10 minutes long. We discussed in depth food and nutrition, including which brands and why, volume to feed, and ingredients. Dr. Tartof answered my questions about exercise for this age and breed of puppy, and reassured me on my concerns. She gave me recommendations and resources on neutering, age to neuter, and the benefits of doing it or not doing it from a health and behavioral standpoint. This is the first vet appointment I have been to in my entire life that started with asking me about our lifestyle and goals for the puppy, rather than just a wellness exam and vaccines. Based on the dog, breed, age, health, and lifestyle, we discussed which vaccines were recommended, or not, and why or why not. I left the clinic feeling like the appointment was truly about my dog and his life and health, not about pushing unneeded treatments, vaccinations, or specific foods. I learned more in that hour with them than I had at any other vet appointment I had been to in my life. As if that wasn't great enough, I was sent home with a "puppy pack" - a goodie bag of including a thick folder with a wealth of information on vaccines, a puppy book, dog behavior sheets, treat translators, toxic food lists, socialization checklist, and so much more (I won't spoil all the fun there is more in the bag!). This vet clinic and Dr. Jessica Tartof were a breath of fresh air. This is exactly what I had been looking for in a vet. Due to covid I didn't spend time in the reception area, but it looked very clean and welcoming. I can't say enough wonderful things about all of the staff I encountered yesterday while I was there and also who I have spoken to on the phone. The treatment rooms were great and my overall experience couldn't have been better.

The entire staff at the Whole Pet is very pleasant to work with. The approach towards optimal health for my dog has been one straddled in utilizing traditional medicine as well as alternative modalities. In sum, there's no ”silver bullet" to every challenge. I am so thankful for this place and would recommend this facility to anyone looking to take a full spectrum approach to caring for their furry companions.
