The staff was kind, considerate, and professional. They listened to my concerns and ordered the appropriate tests. I was able to have all lab work performed under one roof. I was even able to go home with my prescribed medication in hand. No need to stop at the pharmacy and wait in a long line on the way home. I would definitely rate this experience an A+.

I would have given 1 star but then had to come back when another walk-in emergency center had a 3 hr wait. The second time I came in I was greeted like an actual human being who was hurt and needed care.

I fell down my stairs and had hurt my foot badly. I was alone, in pain, and decided to take myself to Pt First. My foot was in agony and I couldn’t put a shoe on. I drove over there as safely as I could with an injury. I had to park so far away and mustered all the strength I could to hobble into the waiting room. I was greeted very unfriendly by a secretary. I did not catch her name. She laughed with another coworker why I didn’t have a shoe on and before asking me why I was in there was very sarcastic and rude about why I didn’t have a shoe on. Clearly I was in pain, clearly I hopped all the way to her desk. She then took my info and saw I had a large sum outstanding bill. Clearly this wasn’t her fault but ultimately I couldn’t be seen as I couldn’t pay that bill. She offered zero empathy besides saying “I’ll give you a minute” so I could conduct myself. Having a rough day and all the obstacles I had to face to get in there I burst into tears. More so not because of the bill but because of how this woman just treated me like a number and a waste of her time. I bawled my eyes out in the parking lot from being embarrassed that I was almost stupid to come in. Ended up going somewhere else but had a long wait time so I had to come back to pt first this time with my husband to pay for the bill. This time I was greeted with a wheel chair, a friendly smile, and genuine concern for my well- being. That right there is what a patient wants to be greeted with. If you don’t even have that quality maybe find another job that doesn’t involve patient hospitality. All in all the rest of my time there was friendly and efficient. I did end up with a break and got a special shoe. Had I not come back and received that care I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I went in first thing on a Saturday morning, expecting to have to wait a while, but my visit was quite the opposite! I registered on the computer at the front and then registration called me right in. Then within 10 minutes in waiting room, I was called to the back with a nurse. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The physician that saw me was thorough and explained things. She listened to what was wrong and examined me. She sent for a chest X-ray. The X-ray staff was respectful and friendly. Overall, I truly enjoyed my visit even though I was sick. Thank you for such great service!

I brought my daughter for sports physical, and I indicated that I would be in my car due to a lot of people in the waiting place. My daughter was called for vital signs when she finished, I asked if we could go back to the car, and the nurse said 'yes ' we waited for 3 hours, and nobody called my phone. Only to get inside the patient first and ask why w don't receive called? One of the nurses in Desk 3 said,' I called you long time, and I took her name off the list.' I was so mad, and I told her I didn't receive any call. They didn't call, but there were no messages or voice messages to indicate that the patient first called my phone. We were waiting again forever to see the doctor.

I came here a lot when I was younger, and decided to come here again as I was having issues with my throat. While the wait time was pretty standard for any busy medical setting, the staff was amazing. Very sweet, kind and caring. The CNA (I believe her name is Mary Jo?) was so funny and kind - really gave mom energy and is the embodiment of patient care. The receptionist/nurse who helped take my information was very sweet and kind as well. Finally, the doctor (forgot her name, but with curly brunette hair) was very patient and listened to my concerns with care. Every person I interacted with had a great smile on their face and held this warmth to them; despite how long the wait was, I’m very happy with how I was treated and the urgent care really felt like a hospitable place where people can go to get better. Thank you for everything you do!

It was my first time at Patient First. It was a great experience from walking through the door to exiting. Entire staff was pleasant, professional and helpful. I was in and out in an hour. I would highly recommend White Marsh Patient First to anyone needing an urgent care facility. Patient First works with the VA and provides urgent care to veterans like me.

I normally wait or go to the emergency room but went on line and read about the White Marsh Patient First services and what they provide and felt they may could help me with my particular need at this time. When I arrived everything was handled so smoothly. I was barely there an hour. Each person that took care of me was very kind, professional and attentive. Thank you for helping me.
