New to town, this was my first visit here for regular vet care for my handsome dog.

Immediately I am impressed. Staff is nice, professional, and quick. The place is clean and quiet. It was easy for me and my dog to sit down and be calm. The vets work as a team and are extremely knowledgeable! I have never had such a quick deep rapport with my dog's vet ever. Prices were definitely fair ? and to me a great price for the knowledge and care you're getting. Will definitely be returning.

We've only been a couple times, but my dog is calmer at Prairie Oaks than any other vet he's been to. He liked Dr Fraker and the techs, too. The doc was down to earth and knew how to explain things without sounding patronizing or bored. He even gave my daughter's toy dog a checkup. Ha! The atmosphere is comfortable there and I feel like Prairie Oaks will be a great fit for us. Did I mention they are affordable I couldn't believe the office visit bill was under $100, even with shots and a nail trim. I was impressed all around with our experience and am glad to have found such a nice place for my furry kiddos.

After calling nearly every vet in and around town, I got on the phone with Prairie Oak to inquire about an urgent medical visit for a visiting family member’s sick dog! Not only were they able to fit us in that same day, Dr. Walsh was absolutely incredible. She is patient, thorough and compassionate. She is not out to get any extra money performing unnecessary tests. We just moved to the area and that one, unplanned visit means that now all three of our pets will be joining Prairie Oak Veterinary Center!

I also love how careful they are with coughing dogs. They came out to the car first- to make sure that the dog did not have some contagion that could spread to other animals!

I have taken my pets here before and want to leave a recent review. Despite being a busy practice they were able to quickly accommodate 2 of my sick pets. It was an huge relief. All of the staff were nice and welcoming. The care was proficient and thorough. They addressed all of my concerns and set my mind at ease.

Have taken all my pets here (kittens, dogs, and cats) for six years. They are affordable and provide really great service. They have been getting busier and busier it seems every year and it is sometimes hard to make a last minute appointment and usually costs to make an emergency appointment, but that’s not their fault. Will continue to go here as long as I live here.

One of my pet rats hurt her foot last night and I came in (a total agitated mess; sorry to the ladies at the desk if I was snippy) this morning and they were able to get me in within 10 minutes for an emergency check up. The ladies at the front desk were absolutely incredible and up front about charges that the emergency visit would be. The vet (name slips me, sorry!) who serviced my furbaby was thrilled to meet her and was very gentle while searching for any breaks in her foot, and my pet rat, who is typically skittish around new people, was very calm for the most part while she was being handled and weighed. Thankfully it didn't seem to be anything serious, but if it ever is, or if they need a check up, I know that I will be coming back. Thank you so much to everyone here!

They got my cat in there way sooner than any other place I called. The girls there were also super kind and instilled confidence in me that they knew exactly how to help. I will be making this veterinarian my go to from now on.
