By far the worst. Why is it that every Cook County health place has horrible workers with horrible attitudes. Plus you have an appointment at 11:40 and done with your doctor by 12:45 and have to do labs just for labs to be closed until 1:30p. My doctor who is Dr. Patel and her team especially Daphne is amazing, but the Blue Island Health Center as a whole is horrible.

Its ridiculous you hire people who can barely hear or talk on the phone. Just to reschedule a appointment is a HEADACHE whatever lady you all have answering the phone needs to be removed. She just hangs up on you or transfers you back to the main menu not once but FOUR TIMES. This place needs to hire people who can interact with people and not hang up on them all the time. This is so ridiculous.

I have been going to the Cook County Health center in Blue Island for about 5 years now. While the wait can sometimes be long (up to an hour or more) and parking is absolutely HORRIBLE- the service I receive is excellent. My primary care physician is very thorough and addresses any concerns I am experiencing. She sets up referrals on the spot. The clinic itself has a huge range of services right on the premises- except for MRI's and dermatology. I've had mammograms, pap, blood work, CT scans, physical therapy, behavioral therapy, an EKG and an echocardiogram on site. Many more services are available.
Staff is on the whole professional, diligent and friendly.
I suggest having ALL your concerns written down BEFORE going into your apptmt, as it is much more difficult to reach someone by phone, and you generally have to leave a message with the nurse. Also, referral appointments are set without any input from you- you get what you get. Take it!
The MyCookCounty Health portal is also a great way to see your results without having to wait to see your primary doc.
Overall, I am receiving the most comprehensive care I have ever had in my life, and I'm now in my late 50's. I am extremely satisfied, and would recommend this clinic to anyone!

Dr.Dinah Lindsey is rude, unprofessional and defly in the wrong line of work. She put false information on my dad paperwork without asking questions. But I bet I got her right together and he's never going back.
