Don’t goto this clinic.. i believe they try to dig more than actually needed and charge more on you. Our dog has etchings and ear infetction. Finally they charged 500 short for the visit. The diagnosis charge is 140$ which is over the average price. Also they prescribed allergy pills to us about 100$ (without allergy test) and claimed the allergy. I asked whether they had small amount of allergy pills to try first since i worried whether the dog will take the pills. At home i tried, but the dog refused to take pills, i called back to see whether i can exchange the pills to liquid type, but said no way.

We only got those medicine. Other items they charge:

# They brought our dog to another room for clean and took about 10-15 minutes, we couldn't see what they did for clean. If it is a charge for about 125$ for such as short service, we will definitely refuse it. Also from my understanding about my dog, he will not easily be coordinated to let other stranger to do the ear cleaning, so I am not sure what happened there because I have no chance to see what happened there.

# We didn't ask for nutritional consultation really, we believed it was just a casual chat in the visit with technician. I don't understand why this item is listed as a service here.

They’ll stare at your dog that has chewed off their fur and even skin and say “their allergies aren’t that bad”. Boughton clinic will actually prescribe a medicated shampoo. They’ll tell you “stop feeding chicken” without running any tests to confirm that is the issue (if that was the issue the problem would be just as bad in winter and not summer and yet it’s terrible only in the summer time) They charge you heavily and provide less than the bare minimum.

Dr.s and Staff go extra mile to accommodate your pet needs. Those that have anxiety receive loads of patience. They have excellent memories of the Pets that come through and welcome them with love every visit. Great recommendations on diet and exercise tailored specifically for your Pet

We've taken pets to VCA Bolingbrook for twenty-five years. The service has been spectacular, and their move to a new building has only improved the experience. Just be sure to turn on Aspen off of 53 to get into the lot.

Edit: 31 years now, and still as amazing as ever! Had lovely conversations with both Kim up front, and the hospital manager while waiting for my dog to be ready from post-op. Everyone was friendly and the whole experience was great.

What wonderful staff! They took my 8lb Angry Chihuahua and made a friend. Great place to trust you animal with! Can't wait to come back.
We are in these crazy times, and our animals are very precious pieces of family. The ladies up front are so friendly and answer all your questions. When Vet is done they call and speak to you. I hope to one day meet her face to face. Made sure I asked everything and gave me great tips. The Dr even texted me this picture. And gave me a flea chew sample. Think we found our forever vet!

I know it's more expensive than most vets but I like the doctor there and the receptionist is just so so charismatic and great to talk to about the dog she would probably spend hours if she could talking to you about the dog which the reason I keep going back is the atmosphere and the doctors are good too They treated ace perfectly each and every time no complaints
