Dr. Houmes is a phenomenal veterinarian. Our dog Piper has been having some problems. Dr. Houmes answered all our questions and also went way above and beyond for us like she does each of her clients.

We were warmly greeted and quickly taken to an exam room. The tech was wonderful and helpful in putting my dog and me at ease during our first visit. Dr. Montgomery took her time to be sure we understood things and my dog was very comfortable during the visit.

We are new to the area and experienced our first visit to West Lake Animal Hospital for our first little Yorkie dog. We were treated very well all the time. The girls in the front office are so polite and helpful. Liz and Dr. Thornton were so nice and looked like they loved caring for animals. They were very professional, explained everything, and answered all our questions. We are relieved to have found such great care for our little puppy.

Dr. Montgomery and the assistants were so gentle and caring when I needed to put my ‘spirit animal’ down.
When I got a new puppy, Dr Houmes took her time with the exam and answered all questions. They truly care for their clients from beginning through the end. I won’t go anywhere else!

We have taken our beautiful Greyhound to West Lake for the past year. To say we have been through a lot with this sweet dog is an understatement. Dr. Houmes & staff have been very caring, responsive, and involved in his care. When we needed specialized orthopedics, she was helpful in getting him placed. Our follow up care has been great. I’m thankful to have him here. The staff all know him & are so helpful & friendly. Highly recommend this clinic. Thanks for all you do!
