Brought my stepmother in because she is on oxygen and was congested from the flu, she couldn't get air because she couldn't breathe through her nose. They told us her portable machine wasn't working. We told them her two home machines were pumping full strength and she still wasn't getting air because she can't breathe through the nose... They kept going back to saying that it was because her portable wasn't working. I reiterated that the problem started before we put her on the portable to get there.... Again they go back to saying that it's because the portable isn't working. It was like talking to a brick wall. We'll take her to another hospital

Physician in ER refused to run tests and told me I had cat scratch fever when I haven't been scratched by a cat. Wanted to give me Tylenol and ibuprofen and send me home. Went to St. Elizabeths in ofallon and found out I have mono. Thanks Washington county for wasting my time and money.

Although in this ER visit they did not find anything (I deal with chronic pain, illness), never in my 22 years of living has a doctor sat down with me for 15-20 minutes and made me feel seen and heard the way Dr. Thomas Stewart did today. Having an invisible illness really can be exhausting, multiple ER visits, never any answers. He sat down with me, explained some tests i was confused about, and reassured me that he believes I am not making any symptom up, it’s not in my head. Usually doctors (especially er) do not have knowledge on chronic illnesses because they’re just now surfacing and people are becoming more aware. I 100% know chronic illnesses are not an ER doctors specialty, and i shouldn't be going to an ER for these types of things, but sometimes the pain is just unbearable, and I want to feel seen. although you can not schedule an appointment with Dr. Stewart, I would like to just say thank you for being the kind, sympathetic doctor you are. We need more like you. And thank you to the nurse who also reassured me that this is a difficult journey, but to have hope.

My mom was taken to Nashville ER due to having chest pains. The staff acted quickly running tests and as soon as they realized something major was going on with her heart they lined up an ambulance to take her to SSM in Mt. Vernon where they were ready and waiting for her. I’m so thankful for the fast acting Drs. & nurses that helped save my mom’s life.

The receptionist and provider were very rude and unprofessional. I took my wife in asking for a pregnancy test. We did an over the counter which we read as positive. Due to her age and health conditions we were concerned and scared. The provider told us she would not do a blood test, and to go somewhere else. They did not even tell us what to do next or provide us with a referral. We were shocked! These people should not be in the helping profession. I would not take my dead dog the

I have been going here to the clinic and so has my husband and my son. My son was in a bad truck accident and ran test and the nurse ran test to something that wasn’t looking right and ran test and found he had kidney cancer and help set up doctors to go to. My husband stayed in the hospital and had rehab for a week and everyone was nice and this hospital also changed the bedding every day.a lot hospital got away from it. They girls were all very nice. I have went to rehab a year ago and they were nice then. This hospital may be old, but it’s clean, the only thing the food is not good, needs to improve. I just bought food in.

I’m traveling out of state for work. When my buddy caught a seizure, this was the closest hospital from where I work. I went to the emergency room to see if the doctors at the ER can check my buddy vitals. They told me that he had to be a patient in order to get check. They directed me to the nearest pharmacy for my buddy to get check. Even the pharmacy stated they heard a person had to be a patient in the ER. This hospital is racist & I would not recommend anyone that’s of darker skin to go to this hospital.
