Dr Sara is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable! She made sure we completely understood what may be going on with our pet and what to lookout for. She was super detailed in determining a care plan for our cat and her injured nail, and let us know what to expect with healing. Our vet tech, Kaylee, was super friendly and helpful, as well! She was nice to speak with between the doctor and knowledgeable in her recommendations! I appreciate the gentleness with our smaller cat, I've been to vets that treat her like a Great Dane and it's very stressful for everyone involved.

This location is always clean, quiet, and calm whenever I've visited.

Absolutely love the online appointment scheduling and if you have any questions, calling is super easy and they're always very nice!

I know my pet is in great hands here. Thank you Companion!!

They take exotics! Major thank you to Dr Hamilton for taking in my sick parakeet Snow, and the technician that took care of him as well. After being rejected by 7 other clinics, I stumbled across this location as a last hope before having to go to Urgent Care or ER for something I knew didn’t need that. Thanks to their expertise, my little man is on antibiotics, and they’re offering antifungals if needed, and I couldn’t appreciate them any more. A pro as well is that they’re nearby! Thank you for taking the time to talk, and work with my mom to get my little man Snow taken care of 😊 prices are also extremely fair for exotics!

I’ve been taking my yorkie to them a few years and they have always been so compassionate and kind. I recently had to put my baby down after almost 13 years. The staff and doctors at companion in round lake were so kind and caring explaining the process and compassion for what was happening. I will be forever grateful for the care they gave my sweet boy during his life and while he needed to be put down. Thank you all so much it’s never easy to make that decision but their honesty and love was amazing.

Just switched from another vet to companion and couldn’t be happier! Dr.Birr is amazing! Seen her multiple times and always have amazing service and help. Does great with our dogs and they love her! All the vet techs from our appointments are great with the pets, are extremely helpful, and kind!

Had a great experience here! The front desk ladies were so welcoming and sweet to my kitten, they were very helpful and were able to check me in and out at ease. The doctor and her assistants were so kind and helpful in the exam and what they recommended for the future, without any pressure. This will definitely be my go-to veterinarian for any future appointments!

Our dogs only symptom was blood in urine.
During a previous visit 5 months earlier...Doctor b,
recommended a technician appointment if our dog's symptoms recurred. I scheduled a technician appointment.
Upon arrival, they changed my appointment to a doctor's visit and charged me $97 for a very shotty examination. Then the technician was unable to acquire a urine sample. I was not given the option of
collecting the sample myself. Staff was willing to let me go home and try to collect a specimen at another time and return the sample. All this time our dog was probably in pain.
I walked the dog outside and collected the sample 50 feet from the office door.
Then antibiotic medication was withheld.
While we waited 24 hours for obvious test results. Our dog was probably still in pain. Not very humane. Then I was charged $62 for a $28 - $32 medication.
Don't go to this corporate owned veterinarian hospital.
If I could give it a zero I would, but then you wouldn't hear about my experience!

By the way, clinician works in a clinic. A doctor works in an animal hospital.

The office was clean. The Vet and staff were all friendly. We brought our dog Lexi for an annual checkup. My daughter and husband referred us to Champion Vet. We were very pleased with the professionalism and care given to our dog was great. We will be using this vet from now on.
