I was married to my late husband, who was a great veterinarian for 34 years, and this hospital is the closest I've found to his expertise and professionalism. This hospital and staff are incredible! No canned "mission statements", no scripted patter, no ads on a loop if they briefly put you on hold, just old-fashioned good veterinarian care. The place is spotless and attractive and set up to be calming and safe for your pets. They're not cheap (none of them are) but worth every penny.

I want to share my experience with this vet because it has been so unbelievably kind and I'm so grateful. Our rabbit had to be put to sleep, it was an extremely hard and very emotional grieving process in the vet. The staff was so kind and understanding to every decision we made. They let us be with him as he passed and wrapped him in a blanket while we were with him. Eugene meant the world to us and it was a very traumatic event for both my husband and I. The staff walked us through the cremation process as well as the other options and we ended up getting him privately cremated with one of their options. The process was very smooth and when we came to pick up his ashes they had surprised us with a little baggie of a beautiful small carved wood floral box and his very own paw print we could bake at home. It was so special because our bun never actually let us touch his feet while he was alive. He passed away a week before my husband and I's birthday and today in the mail they sent me a hand written and signed memorial card for our bun. To say I'm beyond grateful and thankful for the staff and doctors there is an understatement. This was such a difficult and hard time and decision for our family and having such a kind and supportive staff made the process so much easier. Thank you to all of you for thinking of us and going above and beyond for their pet families. I will definitely come back because I know that even during the worst times they took care of my bun and my family in more ways than I could have ever imagined. I'm just so grateful and I can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart 🩷

We take our birds here. Such a kind and caring staff! And Dr Burmeister is a gift and a treasure to the animals. Very knowledgeable and our birds love him. You can tell he does the work out of love and compassion for the animals. The best kind of vet!

dr wiles and her staff are incredibly kind and warm. from the moment i got there the lovely receptionist helped me get checked in with my (not so happy) kitty. everyone i encountered was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, helping me every step of the way to figure out what was wrong with my kitty (she’s 9 years old & 13lbs but still my kitty). even with vet anxiety, luci was wrapping her body around the vet techs (shoutout to sara she was so sweet) so it was really reassuring knowing she trusted them. love love love this place!! 💛

I moved here from a different state and one of the saddest things about moving was losing my vet for my 10 yo senior toy poodle. This vet felt like home the first time he was seen. He had to be referred for a very expensive hip surgery. He had already had a knee surgery in TN and I was very nervous about this one. Every person in this office treats him like their baby. He had to stay overnight and I didn’t sleep at all. I was calling the next morning at 7:31am to check on him and no one treated me like I was ridiculous or anything. I’m a single mom and they’ve worked around my schedule through all of this and now he goes there for grooming too! He has recovered almost 100% which I wasn’t sure would happen (with how stubborn he is)! I will be bringing my 4 cats too, as it is time for their yearly appts soon. Is this the cheapest vet? Probably not. But I was paying more for this quality of care in my last city too and the peace of mind this vet has offered me has been invaluable.

We moved here from NY, and am glad to find a local vet that takes care of birds. The office staff and vet tech were wonderful, as was Dr. Burmeister. He is kind, patient, very knowledgeable, and very caring towards our pineapple conure, Moxie. We have already recommended him to our daughter for her sun conure. It's a huge relief knowing Moxie will receive top notch care in our new hometown.
