We have experienced happiness, and tears together for many years and always know that you have been able to receive the best treatment possible for your furbabys condition. We brought our senior dog for dental care recently, and we left with a broken jaw and no dental procedure whatsoever. The price was approximately $1400 (followed by a few thousand more to fix the problem elsewhere). Prior to the visit, the dog was energetic, happy, and going on walks. Allegedly, the jaw was already broken, but a drastic change in the dog’s posture (could barely keep her head up) and evidence of significant pain suggested the contrary. In reviewing her medical record, it appears that it likely resulted from poor handling with a slip lead.

McClintock had been our primary veterinarian for over a decade with Dr. Claus, who is unfortunately retired. Based on our dog's prior dental records from services received at McClintock, I figured the staff had a system to effectively manage the safety of our pet, especially if she was susceptible to injuries.

In retrospect, I wish we had gone directly to a dental specialist and that McClintock would adopt a more proactive referral system when not equipped to handle certain dogs with an existing medical or dental record. If you’re likely to break a dog’s jaw this information needs to be communicated and you should have trained staff to manage this situation on-site. To top it off, the painkiller she was given was insufficient, as she could barely manage that evening and the next morning. The next day, the specialist was able to administer proper medication to ease the pain before performing a very stressful surgery.

The only good thing coming out of this situation was the prompt referral to the specialist, but that was the least they could have done.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Nelson, Shelby, Tammie & the awesome team here at our first visit to this facility! Everyone was so kind, gentle with our pup, and went above & beyond to help us feel relaxed, too! They had so many little lovely details to welcome us - from the welcome sign to the cute way they wrote Cooper’s name on his medicine bag… all the wonderful details made such a great impression! Dr. Nelson’s kind demeanor eased our pup’s anxiety (other vets have not taken such care to this!) and provided us with several options to help treat our pup’s issue - all were explained clearly with no pressure to go one way over another. After searching for years, we can confidently say we found our home vet! Thanks, McClintock team, for taking such good care of Coopie!!

The clinic got our cat in on short notice as a new patient after we discovered an infected wound. Dr. Lee and the nurses were very friendly, listened to our concerns and went slow with our grouchy boy. I love that they have separate dog/cat lobbies and rooms and that they took our financial concerns into account. We will definitely be making them our primary clinic for both our cats going forward.

I love this veterinary clinic. I drive out of my way to come here. I have 100% trust in the doctors and staff here. I have been coming here for 10 years, I have had spaying & neutering done here as well as teeth cleaning and it’s always been excellent experience My dog can get a little nervous, going to the vet, but this place is aware of that and makes it a wonderful experience. Julie and April assisted wonderfully today during my visit with the wonderful veterinarian. Most of the veterinarians here are female and very caring and most of all knowledgeable. I really really appreciate this place!❤️

Thank you to Dr Dunaisky and Nurse Jorae for their kindness and compassion for our kitty who unexpectedly had a terminal illness. This was our first visit after 2 months of (unnecessary and costly) treatments at another vet. We are forever grateful for the compassion they showed - They truly care for animals. You will feel this the moment you arrive. I have several other pets and this care center will be our new vet for sure. I wish I could give it 10 stars
