I've been trying to get a hold of ANYONE in the prompt care office for 3 days now and no matter what time I call they let it go to voicemail. Do not go here if you will need any questions answered or someone to actually want to do their jobs and care for you as a patient. They can't even answer a phone.

FINALLY GOT THROUGH TO THEM!!! Apparently they will only answer the phone after you leave a horrendous review about how bad they are at their jobs and call the connected primary care office to complain about how lazy they are. Posted this comment 15 minutes ago and they answered 3 minutes ago. So if you need this office to actually do their job you have to call the primary care office and ask why the prompt care isn't answering them post a public review. They MAYBE they will do their extremely simple and easy job.

They wouldn’t do an ingrown toenail when our dr office was booked up. They said it wasn’t that bad yet and to try soaking it. We still need care somewhere else.

I was in need of healthcare, but it wasn't serious enough for me to even consider an ER. I was in and out in less than an hour. The staff was attentive, caring, and competent. They took time to explain my acute illness and prescribed an antibiotic. This group of healthcare professionals is a huge asset to our community.

Over the years I have taken my children here since it’s the only place open in town. They have been misdiagnosed and given antibiotics that were not necessary which led to an even worse infection and ended up in the emergency room with one of my kids.

What is the point of having a family doctor if you can’t ever see them when you need them! I tried getting in to see one of my kids primary care physician to get a simple school physical and vaccination and they made it so complicated and impossible for us to see her.
This is the worst place to seek medical attention. Do not go here, go to the ER instead. Not to mention it takes hours to be seen and the doctor will come in for a minute to tell you it’s a virus and he can’t help you!

What’s highly concerning to your patients should be taken seriously. Seems like OSF HealthCare- PromptCare located at 1650 Midtown Rd downplays health situations. Instead of professional and caring, the vibe from the male NP was rude and condescending

I was wary of them, because their ratings are quite low.
Let me confirm they aren't much.

My first visit, they tried to be very nosey about my church and religion. That was bad and I protested that invasion of privacy strenuously.

The second visit I had from side effects of a wrong med given to me, and I received very poor treatment.

First, I told them I'd had bad medical experiences and doctors made me nervous (which is now 10 worse than it was).

Well they made me very nervous by staff that was extremely high stress themselves - I asked for somebody else and was refused. (I really should have left then).

The doctor refused to discuss the wrong medication that had been given to me. They scolded me about treating them bad (I wasn't - and I really really should have left then!).

Then they wanted to run many expensive tests and I felt that was wrong, so I left. I stopped by the Desk and told them I was uncomfortable (and why).

It was settled (I thought), and I left. Then the phone calls started. About 5 calls to see if "I was ok" which of course I was. These calls I considered telephone harrassment, since I already ended the visit.

**I think direct calls from a doctor himself are unprofessional and inappropriate to a single female as well.

This was pressure placed on me. Unwanted pressure and coercion.

I never wish to be treated like this ever again. If a medical provider does not act professionally and respectfully, leave, and run! Don't walk.

I left a message for a Patient Advocate. Let's see if anything happens at all. Let's see if they make this worse than it already is.

I consider OSF to be very poor.
