I've been taking my girl, Nellie, here since she was a puppy and I've always been happy! Trustworthy, knowledgeable, and caring people here. Nellie just had an allergies flare-up that I've never seen, and they were able to immediately schedule us in for a visit! Definitely recommend. It's a good feeling knowing you're taking your pet some where, where people really care about what they're doing! Thank you!

I would never recommend this vet over $700 in bloodwork for a cat who has a head cold. I had to call them three times to get the results from those tests today I call them back and explain her head is huge and they say there’s nothing they can do today very inexperienced and rude.
This is an
update took her to St Charles Vet. They were able to look at the bloodwork done at this vet and acknowledge she has hyperthyroidism and put her on medication and gave her antibiotics for a severe head cold. How hard would that have been for the red barn paid for the bloodwork they knew the blood results, they could have put her on medication

Both Hampshire and Gilbert's Red Barn have taken great care of all of my cats. The staff at both locations are great, and so are the vets. The pricing for services is affordable.

Our veterinarian was enormously helpful and knowledgeable in resolving our kitten and adult cat “relationship issues” (who knew there were cat pheromone plug-ins?!?) and she clearly has a heart for felines. She made our scaredy cat feel welcomed, safe, and comfortable in her presence. We highly recommend her.

Dr. Sarah Stone is the BEST! We've used her for over 15 years and love her as our vet! The facility is very clean and the rest of the staff is excellent as well.

Cooper, our GoldenDoodle had his first appointment at Gilbert’s Animal Clinic, part of Hampshire Red Barn Animal Hospital. From the employees at the front desk to the Vet Tech to Dr Downs, our vet, everyone was welcoming, efficient and showed such kindness to Cooper. Both the vet tech and Dr Downs spent nearly an hour at this first visit with our 7 month old doodle answering my questions and explaining procedures. The very next day, I received the promised email detailing the ordering of flea and tick medication online. The customer service person I spoke to on the phone was so nice and explained that the medication would be delivered to our home automatically every quarter as I requested. When I found out that a new facility is being built across the street from the current Gilbert clinic (which will have an ICU and surgical services), I knew I had found the perfect place for Cooper, only 5 minutes from our home in Pingree Grove. We are thrilled to find such a wonderful clinic for our pup!
