Terrible service front desk, girl with short curly hair has no empathy and terrible customer service. We drove an hour to bring my sick puppy in who is a patient there they refuse to see him at 2:30 on a Saturday after they put him on medication two weeks ago. I explained to them that he’s vomiting blood as well as blood is in his stool. We were told it was too much going on with him and they refused to see him. They don’t care about your pets. I’ll never return or refer anyone who loves their pets to go there.

Truly the best service I have had at a vet! I have a 7month baby and with a 100 pound puppy vet visits can be difficult. But with this team it was a breeze! They checked me out in the exam room and even helped walk my pup to the car since I had my hands full. Highly recommend.

I've been coming here for almost 4 years. I went there on Saturday because my dog was vomiting and having diarrhea. The same night, I ended up in the emergency hospital with both of his eyes swollen. On Monday, I rushed my dog to the Wheaton animal hospital because his eye got a little swollen and there was a little blood in his stool. I got there before 5:30 and waited patiently for the front desk to check out her other customers and answer phone calls. When it was my turn, she stated they wouldn’t take me because he couldn’t stay overnight, and the doctor wouldn’t see him, advising me to go to the emergency vet. I said the emergency vet is more expensive, and he’s been coming here for years, so I don’t understand why they wouldn’t take him. She said the doctor takes his last patient at 5:30. I got there at 5:20, waiting for her to finish with the people she was helping, then she said he wouldn’t take him because it was an emergency. She was contradicting herself the entire time. She said they were trying to save me money by not taking me, which is why the doctor refused to see me. I told them the visit should be free due to the fact I was just there on Saturday and spent over $500. I’m just really disappointed and sad. I came here to get help, and they turned me away without even trying to check on him and make sure he was fine. They said it was an emergency, but if it was an emergency, why would you turn me away because you close in an hour? You obviously see me as a distressed, vulnerable dog owner who’s hopeless. It seems like they don’t care about pets, but only about the money and leaving as soon as possible. Now I’m at the emergency room that I already spent over $2500 in the past two days! It’s sad because all of this could’ve been avoided if they had just helped.
