Nothing like spending 320 dollars to get your dog taken care of. That's fine.
But when I walk in and the vet looks right at me, I smile and ask how my dog is, and the man looks at me, and then away to his assistant and says " I don't have time for this"
That's not a place I'm going to go to for my dog to have surgery on his foot.
When I can't get two seconds of reassurance over something much less.
So keep that in mind Prarie land. You can have the best service in the world, and people to pay premium prices..
But if your not going to treat a human that stands right before you with respect.. Then why would I trust you with my animal in a serious heart felt situation.
I feel like if my dog does during surgery this man would just be like
" bye " lol
All of that said..
I feel like my dog did get good treatment.
Amd maybe I misread the man, and he was just very intent on working on animals..

The reception staff and techs are all really nice. But the pricing is high high high. We had same service done here and at another vet. This place charged $250 and the other vet charged $14.95. We were shocked at exactly how much we were being overcharged. Our only real issue is the skyrocketed pricing for services.

Shotty service. Outlandish prices. Treats you and pets sub human. (Unless you have a fancy town name) at least thats the treatment i received. All in all Rodney yetter is not a nice person or a very good vet. I believe at one point he was but As the years have went by he acts as if he don't care nothing about animals anymore. Just the all mighty dollar. Fair to decent. I'd personally recommend cass vet in Virginia IL. They are amazing. Work on a sliding scale and have respect for all walks of people. Rodney went as far as to ask if I had any financial accounts and what was in them. Sorry buddy not your damn business. Also this is all of my own personal opinion and experience.

We boarded our 2 small dogs this past week. I knew they were in great hands. We asked for a teeth cleaning. They were due for their routine check up the last day they were there anyways so... Win Win!! I'm thankful for having Dr. Yetter and the Prairie Ridge Veterinary clinic as our beloved pets caregivers.

I hate leaving these reviews… I wasn’t comfortable in this vet clinic. I inherited a pitbull whose about 8/9 years old after my best friend tragically died. I took her in for rabies and toenail clippings. I wasn’t allowed to go back in the room with her for some weird reason, and they taped her snout with gauze. I usually go to Petersburg vet but they’re booked out for several weeks. I always go in the back with my pets (even after covid, so that’s no excuse) and they’ve never had to tape her mouth shut. Mandy-Roo also came out with her eyes beet red around them and she’s a blue color. There was also blood on the vets hands as he was handing me my paperwork and I’m not sure where that came from. I don’t know, I’ve never experienced a vet like this. Just unfortunately a very uncomfortable experience for me. My dog did not seem in any distress, it was just more of a very uncomfortable environment. Just seemed off and I can’t shake it.
