Everyone was so professional!! I was so impressed!! Dr Wasserman is amazing!!! He was so thorough, friendly and made sure I understood what was going on with my girl and explained her prognosis and aftercare. My own vet was advising removing her eye or at least possible need of a corneal flap. I have vet friends in Georgia and insisted I see an eye specialist. I contacted Eye Care For Animals - Wheeling right away.
After the visit at ECFA , I was advised by Dr Wasserman that she did NOT need her eye removed or surgery. And she will make a full recovery. He would just give her some new antibiotic drops to use 4x day 1st week, 3x day 2nd week & 2x day ongoing until he has me stop it. Following up with him in 3 weeks.
The redness in her eye was a GOOD thing, as it is blood capillaries and it's needed in order to cure the infection to her eye (she had an eye ulcer that got infected). Just to think, a week earlier, I almost agreed to have my vet remove her eye!! 🥹 I cried happy tears knowing she was ok and I made the RIGHT choice to come to Eye Center For Animals - Wheeling.
I was so pleased and it was so worth the visit. Thank you Dr Wasserman and staff for your wonderful services!!!! And a big thank you to my vet friends for insisting that I see a specialist!!

Love this place! Positive energy from the moment i walked in! I was so worried about my cat, but they treated her as their own animal! Their office dog even came in the check on her before heading back to play! They reassured me and fixed her up all nicely! thank you so much! always choosing this place for my pet emergencies!

Your after hours or call anytime in case of the eye getting worse - written in the paper you give - is lie then as we can see from your comment. You are either Ksenia or someone who is holding her back. Pay enormous money and wait forever for doctor himself to see only 5 minutes and be ignored like this for the next appointment and get charged again. Ksenia also told that she does not care about my pet condition and go elsewhere to check it. Keep losing clients with this kind of attitude. If you reading my review, better find another doctor as themselves recommended too and get the deserved attitude from the veterinary clinic - not like in here. Cancelled all appointments with them and keep not recommending them to anyone.

Beyond worst experience. Ksenia in emergency line told me to go to other hospital even though i was willing to pay their ridiculous $800 emergency fee or wait til the next appointment which is 10-15 days after. Also they have nerves to say keep using the bunch of medications knowing those meds caused that redness blood inside eye👎 She even did not ask any advice from the Dr. Neal Wasserman or other doctor. STAY AWAY

Cannot say enough positive things about this place! From the front desk, to the vet technicians, to Dr. Wasserman the service was outstanding. The technicians were great with handling my dog and made sure he was comfortable, front desk gave an itemized breakdown of the surgery, and Dr. Wasserman gave a detailed walkthrough of the surgery and answered all questions thoroughly! Now three days post-op Casper is doing great and can see again! The office even sent a little get well gift which he loves! Without question I highly recommend this place!
