I am a local hedgehog breeder and need vet care often for my herd. Danada has been exceptional. They are kind, knowledgeable, and easy to deal with. They love every little spiky friend I bring in, even if it’s only for 10 minutes! Today, little Dolly got kisses from Dr. Gunderson repeatedly - involuntarily - in a way I have only seen with people who truly love animals. My last vet screamed when one of my 4 week old babies crawled up inside her sleeve. The difference is night and day.

I will be switching my dog here as well.

I travel 40miles SPECIFICALLY for Danada Veterinary Hospital!

My family and I were loyal patients to a veterinary practice in Woodfield for 25+ years. Our 2yr old puppy got sick and our previous vet couldn’t find the answer - by no fault of their own. We had to bring our boy to multiple different vets and a few universities try to find answers to this “mystery” illness. The only good thing that came from that experience was finding Dr. Gunderson. She spent countless hours with us in the office, took late night phone calls to answer questions, and took her personal time to research answers. We will forever be thankful for her during that time.

Additionally, Dr. Wallach has been incredible. Our female corgi came down with acute pancreatitis last fall. Dr. Wallach got her in right away, made sure to see her next day for a follow up, and called me periodically over the next week to check-in on her.

Because of these two, I happily pack up my bunny and travel 50min for her check-ups and nail trims - now that i’ve moved out of my family home. I will always go out of my way for Danada as they continue to value special veterinarians like Dr. Gunderson and Dr. Wallach❤️

We had two bad experiences with the office staff. When we first went to make our appointment, we went in person and after walking in we were told it would be a minute or two. Several minutes later another lady walks in and the office staff immediately helps her and ignores us. Only after another few minutes does someone ask if we needed help as if we weren’t standing there for 10 minutes waiting for assistance. We then took our pet to the appointment and the appointment went fine, at the end when payment was requested we had unexpected financial difficulties. An office staff member came in to discuss payment, we informed her that we were having unexpected financial difficulties and we wanted to talk about our options. We told her that because of the difficulties, we could pay a portion of the bill right then with the remainder being paid first thing tomorrow and we apologized for difficulties. The staff member then asks if we had any cash on us to pay more towards the bill but never gave any assistance options that can aid in the situation. She had compared the vet to a grocery store in a condescending manner with saying that you can’t leave the grocery store without paying. While she’s not wrong, we didn’t go in expecting to have an issue and I’m not talking to a medical professional while grocery shopping who is giving us advice on how to best treat our pet. We didn’t appreciate the experience with the staff member and while it was our fault for the payment issue, the staff member was less than helpful and seemed like she just wanted to get our money as quickly as possible and get us out. Not a great customer experience with the office staff.

I highly recommend Danada Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for a vet! This vets office was recommended to me by a family who's trusted them to care for their pets for 2 generations now! I take my dog and 2 cats to them. They have staff specifically to help calm and ease anxious/afraid pets which was a HUGE reason for me to switch my dog to them as she's very anxious. And this seems small but, they get my cats' unique names right! They spelled their names correctly in the system. The cats' previous vets office not only spelled the names wrong despite me writing the names out for them, but never said the names right either. It didn't matter how many times I corrected them. I thought their names were simply too hard. Danada showed me that the other vets office simply didn't care enough because they haven't gotten it wrong yet.

My dogs have had this veterinarian practice as their "doggie doctors" for over 15 years. Each doctor takes the time to answer all my questions and to give me and my pet personal attention. Whenever I have a question or concern about my pet, I receive a call back from a veterinarian quickly.

There is ample parking, including handicapped parking. The building is on the first floor and is handicapped accessible. Since COVID, until your appointment, everyone and their pets stay in their cars. You can choose to accompany your pet inside, or not, depending on the service. Many of the staff have been there for 10+ years, which makes me confident, as well.

Whether during the loss of a beloved pet, or the joy of a new puppy (shown in the pic - 8 weeks old!), the staff has shared in my joys and my sorrows. Although not the cheapest option, I find their prices reasonable for the service, care, and attention, that I and my pets receive.

Thank you Denada Veterinary Hospital for all you do. I will never choose another vet to help me care for my pets!

I truly love the doctors here. They saved my dogs life and took extra measures to make sure her surgery was thorough and safe. The drs went to extra extent to take care of her and use the right medications. I've been going here for 6 years but my father has been going for 20! They truly are wonderful and caring
