Dr newsome was a good vet but since he's not there anymore, I was seen by Dr. Carrie LaMere. What an absolute miserable person. She makes you feel like your stupid and your inconveniencing her. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HER FOR ANY OF YOUR PETS NEEDS. I SPENT OVER 4,000 THERE AND I WAS TREATED BADLY.
Going to see Dr. Laura from now on, she's super kind.

Just moved back to the area. Had to find a vet quickly because my dog has bad allergies and in need of her apoquel. Found Animal Medical Center online and was able to get in quickly. All the ladies were friendly and the vet was very thorough with my German Shepard's exam. The vet also took.time to listen to us about how to handle our girl because she is very protective of her mama and can be a little extra.

After a hideous debacle at Coyne, I brought my Molly here in what was to be the last few days of her life after a sudden and aggressively progressive mammary cancer diagnosis. Dr. Newsome and his staff were compassionate and supportive, reaching out to me, unsolicited, several times to check on her. Scheduled surgery proved elusive and with Dr. Newsome's tender care, she ascended to the next realm, leaving behind her pain and suffering. They have their own crematorium here so I had her ashes the next day. Every person here cares as if your fur baby was their own. Not since Dr. Glen Major retired, have I found someone I can trust again. Addition 10/22/24...Dr. Pratcher is also to be trusted. This vet practice and Barden in Lowell is owned by the same person so the good old small town trusted vet no longer exists. That said, I will bring my babies to Dr. Pratcher or Dr. Newsome wherever they practice. It's not the business-it's the doctor who matters.

Dr. LaMere is a most caring, concerned, and thoughtful person. I have no doubt that the health of my dog is always paramount whenever we visit her office. She’s just outstanding in her field.

Was recommended this place for being better than the places around me, couldn’t even make it past the front desk woman’s attitude when I called. No thanks. 🙂 that’s what I’m tired of, being treated like nobody has the time for me. I’m wanting a patient and caring place, not someone who has an attitude just making the damn appointment as a new patient. NEXT. Ugh. Looks like I’m stuck driving an hour for my dogs until these places get friendlier.
