Staff is always kind and helpful with all of my exotic pets' needs. They always do their best to fit us in if needed and work with me on appt times. We have had 3 major surgeries, 2 pet deaths, plus all the countless scheduled and pop in visits. Everyone is willing to help get the care we need and sometimes learn new things in the process.

Everyone was very nice. Dr checked my bearded dragon out and spent a long time talking with me about him and how to care for him. It did take them a while to get me in passed my appointment time. Price is reasonable for check up

Since then, I have consistently chosen Hillview for my pet's needs and have developed a deep appreciation for the staff. The office manager and the front desk team are not only friendly but also exceptional in their service. Dr. Kiley and Karen take the time to listen carefully and thoroughly explain everything, ensuring that I understand my pet's behaviors and can make informed decisions for our beloved companions. I willingly travel thirty minutes to reach this clinic, and I will continue to do so. The support we have received from this veterinary clinic has truly transformed our pup's life.

have been going here for all of my rodent care and they are absolutely amazing. Affordable and incredibly caring, kind, passionate and intelligent staff. 10/10 would recommend for all of your exotic pets.

We recently boarded our cat here and normally don't have an issue however this time was different. We don't believe in carriers and have never had one. Our cat is very gentle and would never hurt anyone but when we picked him up today they not only put him in a closed cardboard carrier, they did it without our permission. It caused him extreme anxiety and it took quite awhile once we got him home to calm him down. On top of all that they charged us for the carrier. In the future we will pursue other options and we will never be back.

Don't bother bringing exotics (rats, guinea pigs, rabbits, etc) here. They have only one vet that can treat them and it makes getting an appointment in a timely manner impossible.

Also, they do not tell you that you're not allowed to be with your small animal as it's euthanized unless you specify over the phone... Which I thought was common sense for any pet. When I arrived and was distraught that I hadn't been told this, the tech said "uhm... You can come to the back with me I GUESS?" while grimacing and seemed genuinely confused as to why I cared so much about being with my small pet, who I'd had since infancy, as they passed.

Needless to say, I immediately left and went to a much better, more specialized exotic vet that actually cared about my animal's comfort. It was the worst experience with a vet I've had in my life, I'm disgusted and honestly a bit traumatized by how careless they were. I can never trust this vet again and I'm glad they aren't my only option.

A friend who brought in their rabbit for euthanasia described a similar experience, but was too shocked to fight it when they took him to the back for euthanasia without her.

Just because something isn't a dog or cat doesn't make its life worth less or any less loved. Go anywhere else.

Love Hillview Dr J Clark is the best. She listens to your concerns, and answers all questions. And will return all phone calls. And my 3 guys love her. And that's important.
