This Vet Clinic is the very best!!! I've been coming here for years even though my primary home is in another state. Dr. Steve (retired) and Dr. Jill are awesome. The staff is exceptional...caring, compassionate and friendly. Especially Heather who has been there for 20+ years. It's more like a family than a business. I highly recommend this place. AAA+

We just started with the Bristol Vet with our new pup and are so impressed. The nicest staff- everyone is so attentive and friendly. Saturday appointments are super convenient. Our pup is getting comfortable going after only 2 appointments (both with shots) and we are glad we've found them!

My Dogo Argentino has had issues recently at Banfield hospital. Those issues seem to be resolved now that I found Bristol Vet. We don’t have to worry about being handled by a new employee each visit (typical corporate hospital nonsense) They allow me to hold my dog as they do their work, they did not show any fear or hesitation when my large dog comes in with a muzzle. (Which we received at Concord Banfield) Their rates are amazing for basic wellness. It’s been a huge relief finding this practice. We are in and out and my boy shows no fear aggression because of that. Thank you, Vets and staff!!!

My big dog was in pain. His paw was swollen and he was limping. I called the Bristol Vet and they fit him into their schedule.
The staff there understood that my dog was in pain and I was hurting because he was hurting.
They treated Remy and me with kindness.

1. What kind of vet is afraid of dogs? My (new to me) dog was exhibiting massive overstimulation and anxiety and all Jill did was jump back and twitch which made it worse.

2. Unprofessional. Jill lectured me on how "dominant" and "aggressive" my dog was being and instead of working to calm him (and me!) down, she proceeded to have him muzzled, chokered, and then sedated. I am a new dog owner but even I know the difference between anxiety and dominance!

3. Nothing was explained to me at all. I had to Google what was done at the appointment based off the limited amount of info I had from the invoice.

4. Traumatized. I was internally panicking, my dog panicked and now my dog is refusing to train (we worked SO HARD over the past two weeks!) and he's displaying some PTSD behaviors like nipping, and being withdrawn, refusing treats, hyper vigilance, and accidents.

What a miserable experience for a brand new dog owner and a dog who hasn't even fully acclimatized to his new home!

And to top it off, nobody wore name tags and it was impossible to tell who was a client and who was an employee

We had to take our dog Leo to be put down due to serious health issues. Dr Jill and the staff were so compassionate and considerate during this difficult time, we are so very grateful!!
