In December, I had volunteered here a few times, and everyone was soooo friendly and continuously thanked me. I am now fostering an awesome doggo named Elsie, due to an emergency heat situation, they sprung into action immediately. You can tell they're loved by the community, because so many people stepped in to help them, with smiles on their faces. Photo is my current foster, and she's the sweetest! 💗

A starved dog was wandering our school parking lot looking for food. I drove all over looking for a shelter. After being rerouted a few times, I ended up at the Humane Society for Hamilton County. Everyone was so helpful and kind. They constantly thanked me for picking up the dog, while I was grateful to them for taking her in, even though they have very little space. While no one asked me for a donation, I wanted to help, and they made it very easy to give. I appreciate the kind hearts that work at the shelter.

This place is so much better where it is. It's organized. Has lots of volunteers and the cat house is amazing. I adopted a cat today and was able to sit with and visit personally several cats before I could come to the decision of which kitten I wanted. You really should go and check it out and while you're there pick up their wish list, there's lots of stuff that they need to keep the animals healthy till they get there forever home:) Hope you enjoyed this video of my little kitty that I adopted today. Very excited!:)

Wonderful place. Originally we went looking for a different dog, but we didn't know he had quite the extensive medical background, my partner and I wouldn't have made a good match for him and one of the front desk girls explained his situation very well and pointed us in a new direction with our current living situation (apartment) and work schedules. We met a cute pitty, but we fell in love with our original pup that we saw instantly online, Mister Loki, and she explained his background and how he would be with our cat. Everyone was super helpful through the whole process. We've had him for 4 months now and chose to name him Stark, he is such a good, sweet, goofy boy. We also got him neutered here and everything went so smoothly, the staff is super nice, very helpful, and invested in all the animals. We've also donated quite a few items to this place. I would 100% recommend this place to everyone and if we adopt again we will be going back here! Thanks again to the staff!

We adopted our cat from these guys in 2021. I really appreciated that they made sure that we knew our kitty cat had aggression issues prior to adoption. And she did for about a year. But after 3 years of patience, love, and care, she has become the sweetest, most wonderful companion. She hadn't had surgery when we adopted her yet, so she had to be fixed before we could bring her home. She was microchipped and got her shots as well. Keep that in mind if you go in hoping to adopt the same day.
