Had a kitten recently neutered. 5 days later, he had some flesh hanging through the stitches on a weekend. Out west vet clinic was quick to help us. They were very caring, knowledgeable and kind to help us.

Would definitely come back for immediate care needs.

We love Out West and would highly recommend. The entire staff is extremely kind and helpful, and they are VERY thorough. Over the past few years, my dog has needed emergency veterinary care 3 times on weekends and we’ve always been able to receive excellent care at Out West. Despite coming during weekend hours, the bills have always been much cheaper than I expected. We love Out West and are so grateful to have them in Little Rock!

We went in with really tough odds, yet Dr Love and Dr Lane and their colleagues worked relentlessly to keep our baby comfortable and make their best attempt to save her life. She lost her battle, and they have been so kind, loving, and supportive. I am grateful for the open arms they gave us in one of the most difficult and challenging situations. They didn’t hesitate and were very professional.

I can’t express the feeling of grief, but also knowing they worked as a team to try their best I will be forever thankful!

I just wanted to thank the staff, especially Dr. Love, CVT Joseph and her amazing receptionists for the kindness and professional care they gave to our kitty and to us. They were patient and thorough and explained things several times in a way we could understand. I could tell that a true love for animals was part of the workplace vibe. I know it is not easy to do what you do with all the many types of animals and many of them in distress, and it takes special people to be able to handle relationships while doing a professional job. CARE for Animals

At the beginning of this year, one of our adoptable dogs was struggling with severe gastrointestinal issues. We took him to Out West Veterinary Urgent Care. Knowing how busy emergency clinics like this can be, we expected a long wait, insane prices, and burned out staff. Instead, we were greeted by friendly and compassionate techs, waited less than 15 minutes to see a wonderful vet, and found the resulting bill to be extremely reasonable. More importantly, they were able to help our furry friend get on the right track to being happy and healthy again. Since this visit, he has found his forever home and is living life to the fullest.

So many vet offices are overrun in Arkansas. Too many animals in need, and just not enough veterinarians. Out West meets the challenge of being the only true 24-hour emergency vet in Little Rock with kindness and professionalism. They also always seem to find a way to make time to support our mission to help homeless animals.

HIGHLY Recommend them! We had a freak accident happen with our Shepherd and Boston Terrier, that our Boston had to be taken in for an emergency. I called EVERY local clinic that considered themselves emergencies, but neither could get us in. I will say 2 of clinics I called recommended this place to me. As soon as we walked in we were greeted, assisted, paperwork filled out and Jaxon taken to the back to be seen. Vet tech was very calm and knowledgeable, vet was also very calm and straightforward and walked me through what would be done. GREATLY APPRECIATE everything from EVERYONE!

I took my dog in for euthenasia. It was time - she had cancer. On the day, she couldn't stand up long enough to go poo. My regular vet couldn't/wouldn't work us in despite knowing what it was for because they said they didn't have any open appointments. Out West got me in right away. They just asked what time we'd be there so that they could have a room already waiting on us.

They were so caring and sensitive to us and to my dog. When I picked up her cremains, they included paw prints and a nose print which is so thoughtful. I had wanted them so bad but didn't think of it at the time. Will take any of my pets back there if the need arises.

Our 13 yr. old terrier had been hit by a car and was close to death by the time my husband arrived at the clinic with her on 11/2. He was met by our children & grandson and all stated that the staff handled her And their grief with such gentle kindness. We will be forever grateful!
