The Dr and staff were friendly. The only complaint is that he would not allow chewy.com to deliver vet recommended dog food. I have to go through him. It is more convenient to have it delivered to my door. But he did take money off his price to me.

Dr.Al not only takes care of both my babies on a yearly basis but has went above and beyond to take care of my baby girl, Maddison. Even when he himself was dealing with injuries. Some doctors would have referred her to another veterinarian but Dr.Al understood I trusted him and would only feel comfortable with him treating her. Not only did he perform the initial surgery but today he performed another due to Maddison injuring the area . Today’s surgery was not scheduled nor was it foreseen but Dr.Al seen her and said “ he would fix this for her” he stayed after hours along with his wonderful wife who is also his Assistant and the front staff. They were all very sweet and supportive through it all. He also was very kind and gracious when I was settling Maddison’s bill. I can’t put into words how grateful I am to have such a wonderful veterinarian looking after my two babies that mean everything to me.

My grandma had them put her 16 year old dog down on Friday 09/06/24, she calls yesterday trying to find out where her dog was cremated because they gave her a number for a crematorium in Oklahoma, when she called to ask where her dog was they told her to call back in an hour. She called them 10 times and they wouldn’t answer the phone. The people that are actually handling the cremation called her today to tell her they hadn’t picked her dog up yet and the vet still had him. But they would go get him and take care of it. The fact they LOST her dog and refused to help or give answers is so wrong!!! And the fact they didn’t care enough to even answer the phone shows me exactly how they feel about the clients that go there! Shame on you.

Dr. Al saved our puppy's life this weekend. I highly recommend the Markland Vet Clinic. They were very nice and did a great job on our dog's emergency surgery. Other vets wanted more than double the price to do the same procedure. We will definitely be taking our dog back there for future visits.

The staff here is wonderful! They were able to fit me in the next day after calling and were so gentle with my cat. They explained everything to me so I understood clearly. Not to mention the prices were SO reasonable! I appreciate that they try their best to keep prices low during this time. Definitely will be making them my new vet!

Our new veterinarian from now on!

We used to use VIP pet care, the service that travels to different locations throughout the year, because it is very inexpensive for routine care. I read an article about Markland Veterinary Clinic in the Kokomo Tribune when they opened and decided we'd give them a try. I'm glad we did!

I couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Prices are competitive with VIP pet care, but you get the full veterinary spectrum of care, vs only the basics you can have done at VIP. Our appointment was also very quick, even faster than our previous VIP visits!

Everyone we met was super friendly, they all seem to enjoy their jobs and that shows. The vet (Dr Al, I believe) is very professional, very knowledgeable, and seems to genuinely care about animals. Our dog loves him, even after getting all of his shots lol, as well as all of the staff! He didn't want to leave 😉

I would definitely recommend Markland Veterinary Clinic to anyone, I was thoroughly impressed.
