My 6 month old kitten, Ruby, ate a hair tie and they did excellent with her! She doesn’t do too well with strangers, let alone the vet but they still took such great care of her even when she was being feisty. I’m so glad I made the 45 minute trip here to make sure she would be alright. To every single one of the workers that were there on 2/7/2025 at around midnight to 3am: Thank you, thank you, thank you! You are all so beyond appreciated. I know she wasn’t the easiest to work with but you still made sure my baby was able to make it home with me. If you have an emergency situation, they really are the best to go to! 10/10 recommend!

We had to rush our sweet fur baby, Ellie, there last night for emergency euthanasia. Every person we dealt with was so very compassionate, caring and professional. They did their best to calm our anxious hearts. We knew our baby was in the best hands. We highly recommend them for top notch care and compassion.

Had an urgent care appointment for my cat Lucy on 12/30/24. The staff were professional and quick which was great. The veterinarian gave me and my dad the honest truth of how our cat was in rough shape and that euthanasia was the best option for Lucy. It was the hardest decision I've ever had to make, but the staff at MedVet Dayton were courteous and respectful while I spent the last moments with my childhood best friend. I thank you for putting her down gently. ❤️

Our dog was hospitalized for 7 days at MedVet with pneumonia and a pneumothorax. The staff and doctors at MedVet were absolutely incredible caring for our pet. We felt safe and assured that they were giving the best care possible to our dog while she was in the ICU there. I don’t think I would’ve been bringing my dog home alive if it weren’t for the amazing care she received at MedVet. Dr. Hopwood and Dr. Obersat are some of the most amazing internal medicine veterinary doctors I have ever met. I honestly didn’t even know that was a thing in the realm of animal care, which is what makes MedVet so amazing. Your pet will receive the best and most specialized care that modern veterinary medicine can provide. The attending emergency room doctors and hospitalists, Dr. Fisher and Dr. McPherson, and staff are so amazing and caring and I knew my dog was getting the best possible care there and being loved on by the amazing technicians and doctors. Thank you to the techs, Tyla, Jasmine and Emily to name a few for the daily updates and giving so much love to our girl while she was in the hospital. I will always trust MedVet for any future emergencies for my pets. They are truly an amazing hospital.

Any time I've had to bring my dog there (or my other two who unfortunately passed away), it always brings a wave of anxiety for me due to the fact that my dog is my (uncertified) service dog. However, it seems like the staff at MedVet can sense that anxiety as well and immediately starts to treat the "patient", and also do their best to keep me calm at the same time. They've continuously gone out of their way to ensure all needs are met and are truly some of the kindest, most compassionate and caring (yet still professional) group of people who are highly skilled in what they do!!

All the staff provided compassionate and patient care to my dog (who gets very stressed and therefore reactive at vet’s offices) during our urgent care appointment. We were also seen in a very timely fashion. We’ve also been to the emergency department on previous trips, and they’ve always shown the same compassionate care. Five stars!
