Hands down, an amazing staff. We have a special needs senior (paralyzed). We always worry taking him to anyone other than our main vet because we fear the Dr's will be quick to push euthanasia because he's special needs, (it's happened before).

This staff was so sweet and gentle with him and definitely did not let his disability impact their treatment or diagnosis of him.

From the time we walked in and met with the receptionist, to our sweet "nurse", AH (can't remember her name!), and Dr Scott were so sweet, understanding, and put us at ease for our sweet boy.

Highly recommend for urgent care.

If I could give them 100 stars I would! We just had to make the most difficult decision possible as a pet owner, and I cannot say enough about the ENTIRE staff. Everyone was so compassionate, and you could see on all their faces how much these animals mean to them. The staff laughed with us, and they cried with us. I am not one to publicly endorse a lot of places, but I highly recommend this clinic to any and everyone ❤️

We were traveling through Arkansas when we noticed our pup had some bloody urine. We brought him here and were very impressed with the care we received and how kind the staff was. He was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection, for which we received great treatment and follow up instructions. He is doing much better now!

In April our beloved senior dog Teddy suddenly became critically ill on a Saturday afternoon. We knew it was likely his time. The vet and and staff were extremely kind and caring and gave Teddy so much kindness and dignity. I was of course devastated and they gave Teddy and I time, peace and support. Thank you

I recently had to take my puppy to this clinic with a broken leg. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They called the next day to check in and when I conveyed the pain she was still in, they insisted we bring her back in so they could provide her additional care and comfort. They didn’t charge us the fees all over again, because they genuinely care about the animals they are treating. This is so refreshing and provided a lot of relief to this pet mama! Definitely would recommend them to anyone with an urgent pet need.

We absolutely loved the Dr. And all the staff, so very nice and professional, explained everything to us. Took excellent care of our dog Pika. Pika doesn't like Vets but she liked this one and all the staff. We appreciate everything they did for Pika. I highly recommend to take your furbabies there if you have a emergency.

(1/2) We recently took our pup to Northwest Arkansas Animal Urgent Care due to him non-stop throwing up. At first we believed it was just due to him eating something that we thought had upset his stomach (he tends to get into places/areas he knows he shouldn't be). We thought it was going to go away as we tried home remedies first before actually taking him in to get checked, as any emergency exam can definitely be a hefty penny. We noticed several changes such as behavior, little to no appetite, and weight loss. We decided to look for a high rated urgent care for our pup as we didn't think his case was as severe as it ended up being. We got greeted by the reception team, who were completely understanding and generous. They roomed us right away as we entered the building with our pup. They asked us right away what was going on with him and we explained everything that was going on. The admin and assistant team were completely understanding with us and understood our worries/concerns. It was around 10 o'clock when we arrived at the urgent care. Once the assistants advised the Veterinarian, she entered the room shortly after. As we were explaining our worries, concerns, and the initial reason as to why we were there, the Veterinarian, DR. ADA FERNANDEZ, seemed to be annoyed from the jump. We were visibly distraught due to our pup's condition. She recommended they take x-rays and run some blood work to see what exactly was going on, which we completely agreed with. As they took our pup back to run some tests and once they reviewed all his tests, Dr. Fernandez came back to speak with us. As she was speaking with us, from her tone in voice and body language, she talked to us as if we were incompetent and weren't understanding what she was explaining to us. At the time, we were not worried about her, we were worried about OUR PUP and making sure he was going to get the help he needed. By the time the tests/blood work was complete, it was getting closer to 11:00 PM, the time the urgent care closes. We were completely distraught at what the outcome was of the blood work/x-rays. She asked us if we wanted to look at the x-rays taken, which we agreed to. She then proceeded to walk us to the back to the x-ray room and show us what "was going on". She then showed us the x-rays, and obviously, we are not sure how to diagnose/know how regular x-rays are supposed to look like nonetheless animal x-rays. From looking at the x-rays you could tell there was something going on around his stomach area. She was explaining that she really isn't sure what it is nor how to go about it since x-rays "can only do so much". From the way she was explaining everything, she made it seem like our pup was quite literally on the verge of passing. She was explaining that she needs us/is going to refer us to the ER for animals in Springdale as they are open 24/7 since she didn't know how to deal with his case, which she completely misdiagnosed. We paid close to $700 for the emergency exam, blood work, x-rays, and some other additional costs. As she was walking us out to the front desk, she, as in the Veterinarian, was gathering her personal items and it felt like she was basically rushing us out since it was basically her time to leave. We were completely dumbfounded from the news she had given us and were having a really hard time processing it all as it is never something you want to receive for your pup. She was just basically wishing us luck that the ER animal hospital would be able to figure out what exactly was going on and fix him. As we arrived at the ER animal hospital - they took more x-rays and ran MORE blood work, and figured out MORE issues that our pup was undergoing. When we arrived at the ER animal hospital in Springdale, the Veterinarian asked us to explain to her what the other Veterinarian, as in Dr. Ada Fernandez, had told us was going on with our pup. She gave us a confused/puzzled look since the diagnosis she had was different. She then began explaining what exactly was wrong/was going on with our pup. *Image below is rest of story.

I picked up my be-lated Benny today who passed away on Christmas Eve. I dropped him off deceased for proper cremation. They handled my baby with all the respect he deserved. They returned him to me gracefully and beautifully in a box that he deserved to be in. NWAAUC deserves credit and recognition for being there and doing such a great job. Take your pet here when it's time.
