I had 4 tires put on my truck when I was heading back to Mississippi the people there treated me like I was family and got my truck back on the road. The service guys were very kind and very knowledgeable about the set of tires that I got. And the customer service up front couldn’t have been any better Very knowledgeable about all the tires and the service that they provide. Will do business with them again in the future. My vehicles tire alignment was way off due to an unfortunate incident. I went to big o in salida. They sold me 4 tires told me to call back and schedule the alignment. I called back They explained they were busy and couldn't align my tires for a couple months. By then with my terrible alignment I will need new tires again. Good way to sell lots of tires don't align them. These people are crooks. If you want to get screwed go to big o.

Big O is the only place I'll take my vehicle for tires or repairs of any kind. The women up front, Amber and Katie, are 2 of the nicest women I've met and always do everything they can to make sure my vehicle is taken proper care of. I got tires ordered here and an alignment done. Nice place, nice ladies at the front desk, just seem incredibly busy. They did not have me down for an alignment even though I called about it and once they did the alignment it was not to the specs I had sent them. Good shop, but seemed over run with a lot of stop in people or something and maybe forgot or got to busy.

Happy with the tires and Mount and balance, as they refunded my alignment so I can go elsewhere.

Honestly the best place I could have gone to with a flat! They were kind and quick and had us in our 4 hour drive home in no time. Amber at the front truly is the sweetest and Jeremiah took the time to tell us what was going on and how he fixed it. Even took the time to explain the materials. Perk the kitty Olivia is a snuggle bug and seriously made my time there fly! She played with me and snuggled and promptly followed me around! The best garage kitty ever!

I have gone to Big O for 3 years for tires, checking shocks etc., and I recently brought it in to have them replace the wheel hub on my camper.

They told me it was fixed, but that I should bring the camper in to an RV service place because they suspected the axle was bent.

I brought it in to the RV service place who told me that Big O had replaced the wheel hub, which also had a brake drum, with one without a brake drum and had just left the brake magnet dangling. This meant that the brakes were only working on one side of the camper, which is very dangerous particularly for driving over steep mountain roads.

None of this was communicated to me by Big O. I was shocked as I have always liked working with them. I went back to Big O to talk about it. They proceeded to deny responsibly in every which way. First, they told me that I was wrong about the wheel hub and they had replaced it with the right one. Next, they told me it was all hearsay so they couldn’t go with what the RV place was saying. I said it was as easy as looking under the camper to see it was the wrong hub and the magnet was left unattached. Then, they said the mechanic who had previously helped me with the wheel hub must have put the wrong hub on and Big O just replaced it with the same hub. I was with the mechanic when he worked on it though, and he did not replace the original hub so this was wrong too. Then they said that they must have used what they had because I was in a rush because I was from out of town and on the road. I told them that I’ve been there a bunch of times before, and that I lived in town.

I told them I was horrified that they did not communicate anything to me and send me off with my camper in a dangerous condition. They then said the technician said it was not dangerous. This is absolutely not true-the camper only had functioning brakes on one side, and so if I was braking downhill it would have swayed and I would have lost control. It’s a good thing I was able to get an appointment at the RV place, where they informed me about this, before I headed out to do just that this weekend.

Then Big O said that they were under the impression that they communicated that they had replaced the hub with the wrong part and left the brake dangling. I said they hadn’t, I would absolutely remember that, as I remembered them saying to take it to an RV place to get the axle checked out, and then did so. They then reverted to saying it was hearsay and they couldn’t tell what had been communicated. So are they saying I’m a liar? That I’m an idiot and can’t remember? That is no way to treat a customer. Why couldn’t they just take responsibility?

Then they said that the technician said I didn’t have the brakes set up anyway. I said I did. When we went outside with the technician, the front desk person told him “she says she has the brakes set up” and he just said “oh.”

They did say they would fix it, but given the technician’s apparent utter lack of knowledge, I was too terrified to have them do it. They did give me a partial refund. But, in addition to them being dishonest and sending me out with a very unsafe camper, I have now had to take so much time off of work to handle this. I have to find someone else to do it and pay for it again. And I don’t know if this means I am going to have to cancel my camping trip with my friends that has been planned for months because of it.

The bottom line is safety. And that they refused to take responsibility for what they did. I will never go here again, and am telling everyone in town about my experience. Unfortunately I have discovered I’m not the only one who has had a bad experience here due to lack of knowledge and honesty. I do think the technician who worked on my camper has since been fired.

Great place to get work done! I always get my tires from here. Everyone is always friendly and working hard.
