I was very upset when the officer call me today and he was not give me a chance to speak. I been dealing with this all year and I call multiple times. Every other day I am picking up dog waste in my yard and driveway.The next door neighbor she just open her front door and let the dog use the bathroom in people’s yard. Monday morning the dog waste was part in my driveway and part on the grass. Today one pile on the left side and one in the right side of the driveway. So my question is; I am the dog pooper scooper? If you have a dog you need to clean up after that dog. Of course they found thousand excuse like always and the officer wasn’t even give me a chance to speak. He told me to have patience, and be nice. so my questions are do you like to step on the poop when you walk in your yard, do you like to pick after the neighbor dog every day? If you have money to spend every week for a case of beer you can get a gate for your fence.

We had a cat show up with her kitten, and she had a gaping, infected wound on her back hip. Officer Williams was dispatched to my home. As others have previously mentioned, Officer Williams was incredibly rude to both myself and my husband, and he could not care less about the safety or well-being of the animals who reside in Springdale city limits. Officer Williams called me before he came out and told me they can only take a cat if it is sick or injured, and said he would assess the situation. Upon arrival, he made sure to let my husband know that if a cat is walking they won't take it, doing no assessment whatsoever of the cat's wounds, and took the kitten from its mother to the shelter. He then proceeded to tell my husband to make sure he chastises me about putting outside, injured cats in carriers because the animal control officer needs to be the one to do that. Because we all know that animals work on HIS schedule. The city of Springdale needs to rid itself of this man.

Officer Williams was incredibly rude to me. Literally screamed in my face called me stupid and basically told me to take my dog out of city limits and shoot him on top of this. He didn’t even help me find my dog I made numerous attempts to ask for help to ask where I could take him, he told me that he didn’t need to hear my “sob” story and that it wasn’t hard . Is it hard to be kind? It is hard. My husband‘s on the road and I have three children at home, but I’m trying to take care of on my own and I’ve done everything that everybody’s told me to do to keep the dog in. And spent money and am still trying my best. God help his wife if that’s the way he treats her. Another thing is there are multiple complaints about Officer Williams so why isn’t there anything being done? He was really rude to me in front of my children, and I was literally trying to help him. It’s sad that we have people in this community that take these jobs that have no customer service skills whatsoever. I’m very disappointed in the Springdale animal, shelter, and animal control for allowing this behavior. Thank goodness he’s not a real police officer. He would be an embarrassment to our great city.

Animal control showed up to our house and told us we had complaints about our dog hopping the fence. The man who came to the door was very rude and contradicted everything he said saying “i can tell he’s a problem hopping” when our dog was inside the whole time. Then said he didn’t have proof our dog bit someone but they would terminate him if he did it again? When they don’t have proof it’s our dog? Absolutely ridiculous. Did not give us a chance to even explain our side of the story or take into consideration the lengths we have gone to prevent him from hopping. Btw our dog did NOT bite anyone. But now is at risk for being terminated.

Absolute waste. I don't know why there is an animal control or what they are being paid for because they certainly don't do their jobs. They should all be absolutely ashamed of themselves and they would serve society better by practicing falling down in traffic.

So today i found myself travelling from work to lunch and spotted a man chasing a dog down the road so i offered him to hop in the back of my pick up truck i spent an hour and 45 min of my day to make sure this dog didnt get hit by car. I called animal control once we had him cornered in a back yard .when they arrived they looked at us and drove off.i told people from the neighborhood to keep him cornered and proceeded to chase the animal control truck .when i caught up to them i signaled the men inside (truck number #1515 ) to roll their windowa down they rolled their eyes at me and ignored me .after honking several times the driver rolled his window down and asked me what did i want i told em we had called and needed help .he stated .I have other s**t to do hes not the only dog in this city . and he rolled his window up and drove off .what are these people getting payed to do ? I dont believe its the entire department but definitely these men should not be out here doing this job .Dear Springdale Animal Control i will be more than happy to assist you guys and will work free of charge aslong as you remove people like that,that get payed to absouletly nothing !!!!

Being an ACO must be the hardest job in the world.  Every day, you encounter difficult and heartbreaking situations as you try to help animals that have experienced the worst in humans.  They have no voice, free will, or fingers to help themselves so they are at the mercy of humans and it is my hope that they will encounter someone like you who cares about them and will help them.  The ones that are hungry, thirsty, injured, or have inadequate shelter when the temperatures are extreme.  To not lose focus or perspective and to maintain the professionalism and attitude required while being compassionate and the only voice of reason sometimes, must be extremely stressful.  Of course, not every dog can be helped (or even found when they are running loose), and not every interaction has the desired outcome.  In my neighborhood, we have unfortunately found many loose dogs that needed help and each time you have responded quickly and helped them.  My first focus is on the welfare of the dog because my experience is that the vast majority of them are good dogs that just need someone to help them.    We are grateful that you do what you do.   But sometimes there will be a dog that is aggressive because whatever human it was unfortunate enough to be entrusted to, caused the dog to be that way somewhere along the way.  On Friday, there was a situation where 4 dogs were running loose and one of them was aggressive to me and a another neighbor.  To the ACO that responded quickly and did such a great job getting them contained under what was probably enormous stress (multiple dogs, a garage sale in a neighboring yard with a baby in the driveway, neighbors watching and giving their input), THANK YOU.    Thank You for what you do to help animals that are lost, been abandoned, neglected, or mistreated.   To make sure justice is done on the animal's behalf and that the community is protected.  You have our respect and gratitude.
