We have a small volunteer based non profit animal rescue. Two smallish dogs of our have large lumps that have recently appeared. We brought a dog to this vet almost two years ago and had cancer removed from her ovaries, so I figured I’d bring these other two guys here in case it was also cancer. The lumps were growing rapidly so I was getting nervous. I scheduled each dog back to back for their lumps. I get to the clinic, wait about 15 minutes, go back into the room, chat with the tech, then the vet comes in. She gives the first dog Barkley and exam and goes okay, great he’s good to go. I was like ummmmm what about the massive lump on the bend of his front leg? I brought them here for lumps. The vet goes, “Oh right, he supposedly has a lump you want me to see, where is it?” I worked as vet tech for 8 years and I was actually shocked at this response because she completely degraded what I was saying as if it didn’t matter.

She then checks the lump and say well what do you want to do? She said it’s clearly not connected to any tissue…which is not true at all, it’s completely connected to his tissue and you CANNOT pull it away from the body like you can with fatty lumps. She then finishes with Barkley and does the same EXACT thing with bitsy. Bitsys lump is massive on her side and it came out of nowhere.

This vet just brushed me and the dogs off. She finished her 2 minute exams and said well you can have their lumps removed via surgery. She said no point in testing them for cancer it just costs more money…she said she just likes to remove lumps and go from there. What’s concerning is that lumps should be tested that may be cancerous…animals may need follow up medical even after lumps are removed to make sure none come back, etc.

She said an estimate would be created within a hour or two and emailed to me. I paid just under $180 for both exams and checked out. I waited and waited and waited for the estimate. Finally, 9 days later with absolutely no calls, no emails, no nothing from this vet…I called and left a voicemail about how I was super concerned that not only was this vet clinic willing to take $180 from a small volunteer based non profit animal rescue but it’s been almost two weeks with no estimate, no call, no appointments to remove the lumps, nothing. This vet literally just took my money and never said anything again.

I’ll be reporting them to the BBB today and disputing the charge with my credit card company. I ended up having to bring both dogs to another vet…both have had lumps removed and one of the lumps on 1/2 of the dogs is CANCEROUS.

I cannot even believe that this clinic willing takes money from clients, doesn’t address the issues at hand, then never says anything again. Is this how you make income? This is wrong on so many levels. The fact that you guys haven’t responded or said anything in 3 weeks is shocking.

I’d avoid this vet at all costs…the female vet is snobby and rude. She likes to make people feel like their opinions and animals mean nothing.

UPDATE: this company has completely ignored my BBB complaint, looks like they’ve had complaints before they just ignore. They never responded to me again after taking my money, yet they have been able to argue my dispute with my cc company. So is this what this vet does? Robs people of their money and never says anything again? I’ll be taking this vet to small claims court if they think they will be taking a dime of my money.

Part of BBB response: Although we were unable to obtain a complaint response for you, your complaint will be included in the company's Public BBB Business Profile and will have a negative impact on the company's BBB Rating as well.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I was asking for a recommendation for a vet in the area for my cat and read horrible reviews about this place + saw photos someone posted how dirty it is. I also spoke to a couple of people in the area who told me that this vet has a long history of harming animals. Stay away if you care amount your animals!!!

My sweet baby Olive was in distress, they got her in within the hour...the Dr was kind and explained everything in detail that I could understand...the nurse that was there with me couldn't have been any sweeter!!! I appreciated her empathy...they were genuinely concerned...made our visit less stressful...

I highly recommend this veterinarian for your pet. I was bringing my baby here for 2 years until she recently passed away due to old age. She lived a full life and was well cared for. The staff of amazing & unbelievably patient for how busy they are. I am so grateful to have them here in town. I now have a puppy & I wouldn’t take her anywhere besides here! I trust this place! I also want to say that I appreciate the card they sent after my baby passed away, it really made me feel good that they did that. Thank you!!! ?

I was traveling from Colorado and my dog, Bang Bang, cut herself on barbed wire. Dr. Roberts very kindly agreed to squeeze me in to an already fully booked day, even though I wasn’t a regular client, and get her stitched up. I can’t describe how thankful I was for the kindness of Dr. Roberts and her lovely staff. Her standard of care was above average and Bang Bang healed up beautifully. You guys are awesome! PSA Please be kind to your Vet, they are overwhelmed, understaffed, and they really do care about your pet!

I’ve had nothing but positive interactions with this group. Their front desk personnel are great and very personable. I feel the Dr is knowledgeable and very competent. She is quiet but is forthcoming when asked questions. I feel this is a financially responsible office. I also like the fact that I can get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time.
If any time I feel differently about this clinic I will say that also.

Support staff was wonderful. Dr. was rude. She disapproved of my choices but instead of having a discussion about alternatives that were in the best interest of my pet she huffed disapprovingly. Then when I misstated the date of a vaccination she belittled me for giving a shot too early. She practically slammed the door when I left.

Fast neutering appointment for one of my cats when another vet was canceling services without notification. Also, compassionate follow-up. Have you ever seen instructions on an Rx begin with "Please ..." I'll also be taking my other cats to Dr. Roberts. Kudos to her compassionate staff, too!
