I can not say enough nice things about Dr. Ema. I had followed her from her previous place of practice to Bear Creek Animal Clinic and after my first experience there, I could tell it was a much better fit for both of us.
Dr. Ema was always very honest and compassionate with me regarding our dog Klaus. I was always given all the options available with the final decision being left in my hands.
In regards to the previous place of practice, Bear Creek's pricing was certainly very fair and realistic to me, comparatively. As the previous location was asking near double for the same services.
Sadly I had to make the decision to put my best friend to sleep, and I can't thank these folks enough for all their care and compassion. They treated my dog like it was one of their own, and that really means a lot to me. The immense amount of care conveyed in their office was beyond what I could have asked for.
I picked up my dogs ashes today, to my surprise they including a care package that literally brought a tear to this 41 year old construction workers eyes. They card with his paw print was just over the top. Klaus was the best dog I ever had, and I'll cherish that card forever.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. This was our 1st time here with our new puppy. They made us feel like patrons. We live quite a drive away and it’s nothing short but worth the extra voyage to receive their care! 🙂

My dog was intermittently limping and our regular vet was booked out 3 months. Bear Creek fit us into a cancellation slot.

The people here are super nice. I was very happy with the exam and treatment options. At the end, they gave me the most thorough exam summary report, I have ever seen.

Price was very reasonable, especially for a semi-urgent appointment. This might become our new permanent veterinarian office.

It takes a lot for me to go out of my way to leave a review. Very disheartened to give such a low rating after coming to them for the last couple years, but I have had incredibly disappointing experiences at this vet office. They have pressured me into putting my dog on Bravecto without offering any alternative options or giving me time to ask questions. It felt like their priority was pushing products rather than my dog's well-being. To make matters worse, they have muzzled my dog on two occasions, who has no history of aggression, without trying any other approach. I understand that muzzles are for the protection of the staff, but in this case, it seemed unnecessary. It's clear they don't understand dog behavior as well as other vets do, which made visits far more stressful than it needed to be.
Additionally, they are not transparent about the financial process. I have had to repeatedly ask for estimates at visits, and they drag their feet on providing them, leaving me unsure about the costs and care plan.
What I find especially distasteful is that the clinic owner has been responding to reviews by airing out personal veterinary information on Yelp. I would expect the same level of professionalism and decorum from a veterinary professional as I would from a medical professional. For that reason, I will not be including any identifiable information about my pet in this review. Based on this experience, I will not be returning and am in the process of transferring my pet's records to another practice. Highly disappointed. Could not recommend less.

A well organized and gentle staff helped calm my nervous senior kitty. Options for his care were explained and I was given written resources to review at home. There was no pressure around adding services to the basic care and advice offered. Thanks for your sensitivity to a senior cat and his senior owner!
