We’ve taken our dog here to be seen for skin rash and ear infection. She’s been seen by the same doctor, Dr. Gafter, twice now. We’ve extremely satisfied with his service, being very thorough and complete in explaining the diagnostic evaluations and treatments. We felt that our dog is getting professional treatment and service.

This is one of the best veterinary clinics we've had. The staff is not only very friendly, they do not fear our very large post-trauma rescue dog, and therefore are able to make her feel confident and calm (to the extent possible) and give her great care.
Doctor Paz is very knowledgeable and professional, explains all options and doesn't push for unnecessary purchases.
This is a terrific vet, highly recommended.

We are going there for 2 years with 2 cats. I like the place, usually they have availability for regular check-ups. The prices are reasonable. The doctor is knowlegable and explaining. Though we had a small "incident" 2years ago when one cat had rabies vacine earlier. We went to a checkup. I sent everything before the first visit, but rabies certificate was overlooked and the cat got it earlier than needed. I was told after my cats were returned in the end of a visit. I got the payment refunded, but it created a bit messup since I now need to vaccinate siblings in a different times (the rabies vaccine is reported to the city so you cant skip it). I think in the past they had more doctors so clinic was open in later hours/weekends for emergencies.

I am very thankful to Canyon Creek Hospital & their staff for fitting my dog into their schedule late in the afternoon when she was having blood urine. I was greeted by the CSR right when I got in and placed in a room immediately. Mia and Jess came in to get a thorough history and quick TPR on her. They then took her in the back to see Dr. Gafter.
Dr. Gafter was very informative of all my treatment options for my dog and was very patient when I asked all the questions I had. Once we decided on the plan, the staff was very quick and efficient. Overall, the experience was great.

Been bringing my pets here for nearly a decade and I can't say enough good things about Dr. Gafter and the front office staff. I tend to ask a lot of questions and Dr. Gafter is always patient with me, and we put together a good care plan regarding whatever ailment one of our pets has or a referral to a specialist. Also, a big thank you to Melissa and the front office staff who always go above and beyond in getting something scheduled for me.

I had an absolutely horrendous experience with Canyon Creek Pet Hospital. From the moment I called, it became apparent that their receptionists are the epitome of incompetence. The wait times on the phone were unbearable, and it seemed like they were more interested in testing my patience than providing any sort of assistance.

What infuriated me even more was their shameless attempt to extract more money under the guise of "by the law wellness checks" before administering any vaccines. It felt like they were trying to nickel-and-dime pet owners, prioritizing their profits over the well-being of our furry friends. I expected a veterinary clinic to prioritize the health of animals, not constantly look for ways to pad their pockets.

To make matters worse, their apparent knowledge of the "law" regarding wellness checks is absurd. They refused to honor their own doctor's examination within the year or even consider another reputable veterinarian's wellness check. It's clear that they are more interested in maximizing revenue than acknowledging the professional opinions of other qualified practitioners.

This entire experience left me with the impression that Canyon Creek Pet Hospital has no consideration for the wellbeing of pets or the valuable time of their owners. It's disheartening to see a place that should be dedicated to animal health instead focused on profit at the expense of quality care. I would strongly advise pet owners to think twice before trusting this establishment with the health of their beloved animals.
