I would like to thank Dr. Tara Bogolea-Hodson at Sonora Veterinary Group for coming in after hours to help our fur baby cross the rainbow bridge. Your compassion and empathy were a real comfort to us as our hearts were breaking while saying goodbye. Thank you, and Dr. Jeana Wise, for taking such good care of Lucy through the years. I would also like to thank Marrisa for her prompt and caring phone assistance after hours. Kitten rapidly declined under veterinary care! I have a 5 week rescue kitten who yes, indeed is VERY sick but has also progressed towards recovery at home and with around the clock care . I dropped off rescue kitten at about 8:30am expecting a 5 hour drop off time when really it wasn’t until 4:30pm that I could get him, and I had to walk in and demand my kitten. They would have kept him for longer. I received a call at 12:25pm stating from the Vet herself that the kitten body temp was so low it l wasn’t reading on thermometer, she said his gums were turning pale/gray. 5 week kittens can not regulate or maintain their body heat, it dawned on me that they hadn’t known this!keep in mind before I dropped off kitten, he had a (99.3 temp) great temp! Clear eyes, moderate breathing, active and alert even though he was feeling sick. Collecting my animals medical records and transferring now. I’ve been rescuing animals for years and not to mention I have a lot of knowledge and experience with animal health & welfare. I have never experienced such terrible treatment from staff. I felt they hadn’t actually took anything I had stated into consideration, argue with me about why he is the way he is and/or why he declined under their care.

What a wonderful, caring staff… and the doctors are amazing. My black lab, Clark has always received the best of care and even though his trips there generally are a result of some adventure gone wrong, he still wags his tail and walks right in the office. We have been coming to this office for years and highly recommend this vet group to anyone who has a pet .

there are a lot of vets in Sonora. I have tried them all! Sonora veterinary group is on top of things, response to phone calls and emails, keeps your records up to date, and cares deeply when you lose a pet. lovely people!

My first visit today, with my two kittens, Patrick and Maya.. unfortunately Maya was much too nervous to get her checkup and shots today, but I will bring her back tomorrow for a little sedation and her checkup and shots..
Very very kind staff, and I am very glad I chose this office.. they kept me updated throughout the day, and I noticed that they actually seem to care about the fur babies and were very easy to work with.. thanks to all the staff there!!! You deserve a parade and many many more things, because you all absolutely are amazing!!

I have been going to this vet for several years, and I will never change vets again. Through the loss of my service dog with an unknown neurological issue, to the care of my other pets, the staff and support is outstanding. They never push anything and have great communication. Yes, their prices may be more than other local vets, but you get what you pay for. They are amazing here!! I have had regular appts, pet drop off so we can get urgent issues addressed, and emergency after hours calls. I board my pets here when I need to because I know and fully trust my animals are well taken care of.

This place employees the most caring staff I have ever ran across. The vet is amazing and the prices are great, especially with all they do to help.
