Really amazing staff and price is decent. However be careful with which of the Vets help you as there medical opinions do differ. When I had a sick pet Dr. Wells kept telling me to put them down while other vet in same building (I couldn't get her name) gave me medication and explain what was going on. After a while my pet got better. So be careful with what vet you get and always as for a second opinion.

I wish I could bring my cats and dog here. A few months ago we panicked trying to find a vet to take our hedgehog we rehomed from someone else. She was sick and nowhere near us would take her. One place wanted $500 just to see her! Since we traveled 4 hours one way, they worked with us even if they were busy. They emailed promptly and answered questions. They helped us find a company to get her medication compounded. They helped us give quality care in her last few months while understanding our budget and time restraints. When the time came to put her down, everyone was supportive and empathetic. We chose to take her home to bury, they presented her in a box to take home with a bed of hay and flowers. They went above and beyond. Dr. Amy Wells treated her with such love and care. I will forever be grateful to their kindness. We could've found a closer vet, but they were worth the drive!

Avian Exotic is an outstanding Vet clinic. We drive from Santa Cruz for the exceptional treatment and medical services for our bunnies. The incredibly fair & reasonable pricing is all the more valued and appreciated. To add, Taylor, the medical assistant who runs the front office, is phenomenal. Pure & true. Twice now, she has made miracles happen.

First-time customer here now that we got a birb. The staff is very friendly, caring, and compassionate to our needs. They also took great care in handling, inspecting, and treating our Green Cheeked Conure. After purchasing him from a big box store, it was advised to run a blood test and check for any issues, also to get the sex of the birb.

Each visit was prompt and informative, and all our questions were answered with care until we were educated completely.

The office was clean, had lots of goodies and food to purchase, and even a few pets to enjoy watching while you wait!

I'm told they are one of the best clinics around and their prices are very fair!

First time here. I didn't know that there are Vets for reptiles.

I have a Leopard Gecko, and he wasn't looking good.

The procedure is to call upon arrival, staff will come out and have you fill out a page of information and they take your pet in. You wait outside and the doctor will call you to let you know she found.

Didn't have to wait long and the cost was reasonable.

Friendly staff, the vet was amazing and did everything do help my bird. A little pricey but I don’t mind, anything to keep my birds healthy and happy. My bird got better very quickly thanks to the vet and the after care I gave. Definitely would recommend this clinic!!

I am so happy with the service that my pets and me receive here. All the staff is top notch and professional from the time you walk in the door. They are knowledgeable and care about my pets’ well being. They have even worked with me on seeing rescues and getting them the treatments they need. I will be continuing to happily bring my animals here.
