This is the worst 24 hour pet emergency facility. My dog was in their care for nine hours without any pain medication or anabiotic today. I am going to pick it in front of this building and warn everyone from the horrible stuff that they have if my dog wasn’t attacked by another dog, I would’ve stopped and read the reviews. That was my first mistake. Please read the reviews. Tomorrow morning Monday Fox News is scheduled to interview me so I can share my story. Doctors nurses front desk personnel, the entire staff is unable to reach their pet owners to communicate on the status of their four-legged family member. they have been sued multiple times and each time they have lost their lawsuit. Many dogs have also died in their hands. One person return to pick up his deceased dog and they disposed of it without his permission.

Also, the five star reviews they have are made by the staff. You can clearly see the picture of the people of the people who work here, that is against all Google reviews rule however, there’s nothing that the can do.

I was so impressed with the extra special care my little Ed received. Everyone was so friendly and kept me informed of everything that was going on. I could not be more pleased with the whole experience. I highly recommend for anyone needing care for their pet.

I had been up all night with my baby Darla throwing up, I was up in Idyllwild and decided I needed to take her to an emergency vet at 2AM. The closest one open was in Ontario. We were there for 3 hours, took xrays/blood work and was told that she needed an ultrasound and they didn't have the machines to do it on a Sunday morning. I called around and we were transferred to ACCESS Pasadena and had to drive straight there. Immediately we walked in and they knew who my dog was and ready to take her. Within 4 minutes, they had her in back and was doing the ultrasound-- the doctor came and discussed with me that she did indeed need emergency surgery for an obstruction. She couldn't have been nicer and really listened and answered all our questions-- Dr. Liles I believe. (I know things are busy at an hospital like this so the patience from her was incredible.) Then we met with Dr. Beer, the surgeon assist and I felt so much better that my pup was in such good hands. She said they would call before/after the surgery and they did just that. She also said she would call just before 6pm to give me an update and at 5:57pm, I received a call from her saying how well Darla was doing. From the minute I stepped foot in the door, to now, my experience has been exceptional. I know people talked about the cost of it all and yes, it is pricey, but I felt for the care that my baby received, it's fully worth it.

I will absolutely be coming back here for any emergency in the future. <3

So picked up a new Cane Corso puppy today. Called in to Access urgent Care because she was having diarrhea. They asked me to come in and pull into slot number 10. Waited for a few minutes till somebody came out who gave me a patient form to fill out which I did in minutes. Took them another 12 minutes before they came out to get it and asked me to wait out in the parking lot with my 4-month-old puppy. Said it could possibly be parvo. It was 86° today and the poor dog was hyperventilating in the Sun, as was I. They made us wait 40 minutes in the hot sun next to our truck and no one ever came out to check on us. I have never been treated like this, when I finally went inside and ask for my paperwork, they acted like they didn't care. Three or four vehicles pulled up and someone came out to attend them. All of which had no appointments because they asked and I overheard. Makes no sense why I was treated so horribly with my little puppy. I highly doubt I will return to this clinic. I highly recommend that you asked about waiting times as well as whether or not you will be helped.

We entrusted the care of our beloved Golden Retriever, Hime, to the staff at Access Pasadena, spending in excess of $20,000 for her treatments at their facility over the course of a year. Our experience with them was mostly positive up until today. Hime was recently experiencing advanced kidney issues and severe anemia, conditions in which she was not going to recover from. We made arrangements with the Access staff to store Hime’s remains for a couple days while we prepared her funeral services. After passing, we contacted them again over the phone and they agreed to temporarily store Hime’s remains. Upon arrival, the front desk instructed us to bring in her remains, guided us to a room, and had us sign a form agreeing to the conditions of storage. While waiting, Sasha came in and told us since we are not using their partnered cremation services that they are going to retract their agreement and would not help us. This was contrary to all that was discussed prior with other members of the staff who were absolutely aware of our intentions to NOT cremate Hime. During a time of tremendous grief this organization that prides themselves on serving those who love their animals had the audacity to turn their backs on us, even after initially agreeing to help us under mutually agreed upon conditions, leaving us with no contingency plan. We even pled with Sasha, reiterating that we spent a small fortune utilizing their services, however, Sasha and her staff’s true colors showed after such a simple request could not be met. They are a soul-less bunch of individuals.

The staff at the Veterinary Healthcare Center in Monterey Park came through during our time of need and took in Hime’s remains, helping us during this really tough time. Their staff is much more empathic to their patient’s needs and we believe actions like these will reflect in the care they provide your beloved pets.
