Wow! I've finally found our doctor. Had been seeing the same vet for years. When he retired, the vet who bought the business didn't mesh with me. His prices are exorbitant and he explains things way too well. In other words, he confuses me because he'll repeat the same details in a hundred different ways. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a dumbee, but I usually understand what I'm told the first time. So...my experience with Helix hospital is 100% excellent from my first phone call to my visit. The staff are all kind and helpful. I can tell they're treated well because it starts from the top. Price was reasonable and no one tried to sell me what my dog didn't need. The doctor called me PERSONALLY the next day to share Lulu's blood test results. I have 3 pups and am calling tomorrow for an appointment for my sweet Chinese crested who is not only deaf but has skin cancer. He began limping today. I hate to see my dogs in pain. I think it hurts me more.

We appreciate the staff at The Helix Pet Hospital. They are attentive to our pets. Bojangles, our Rottweiler/ Husky mix is afraid of most people. However, the staff at The Helix Pet Hospita have a way of calming him down.

Dr. Lorber is so caring and thorough. He has been caring for my two dogs and cat for several years. He really takes the time to explain everything and answer all my questions. He doesn’t guilt me into paying for unnecessary expensive tests.
It can be difficult to get an appointment. But If it’s urgent, he can usually fit us in.
His staff is great and very caring.

The Helix Pet Hospital is a great veterinary practice. The staff from front desk to medical assistants to Dr. Lorber are all informative, friendly, and professional. They take wonderful care of our senior dog Mia. Highly recommend!

The Office staff is always friendly and greets not only me but my dog as well. I appreciate that. My questions are always answered and I am never waiting an extended amount of time when I arrive for my appointments. The waiting area is clean and comfortable seating is a plus. The doctors are knowledgeable and handle my dog with care!

Excellent and caring staff. Dr. Lorber takes time during our appointment to explain everything thoroughly and is gentle with our Doodle (who gets nervous at the Vet). Highly recommend this office!

Switched from regular vet of 5 yrs to here on 2 recommendations. Fast. Worked within my budget. A vet who was thorough & took her time. They even called next day to see how my dog was. Will return.
