We love the staff at Goodwin. They are kind, loving, and professional. Thank you for the great care for Ellie. The one thing I’d ask is that you post photos of the dogs ( and Ellie) like you previously did. Not only is it great publicity to attract new clients, but it reassures your current clients that their pets are enjoying being there. That’s very important since you don’t have cameras. indoors or outdoors

This business has decent employees and seems to be a top notch place to go…however…beware of the bumped up charges that may be added to your tab. Always make sure of what you and your pets are receiving before you pay. It seems that they do some add on charges without consent. So buyer beware! And make sure you are not paying for items not requested or required for your pets…

We have boarded our dog here several times. At first it seemed all went well.
Something has changed. When we picked up our dog, her bed had been urinated on. This had not happened before. We talked with the kennel manager because we were concerned she was not being taken out in a timely manner. Awhile later, this same situation occurred again.
We were told they were treating her properly and this could happen. We had to unexpectedly board her 2 days this week and when we picked her up this morning, her bed was given to us wrapped in trash bags and we were told we needed to wash it that she had urinated on it. When we got home and unwrapped the bed, not only was it wreaking of urine, there was poop all over it and it was way past needing a wash. It appeared our dog had laid in this. Also, we took her food and there was food remaining in her bag so we’re not sure if she was fed properly. We purchased a new bed. We will not be boarding here again. We feel our pet was neglected here.

We couldn’t be more happy that we found a place that loves our doggies as much as we do. When we go out of town overnight, Goodwin is where we take Logan and Max! Once they realize that they are going there, they have a hard time containing their excitement!

My dog Aspen has been boarding, grooming and using the medical services at Goodwin. I selected them due to the variety of services they offer and I am staying with them because I am happy with how they provide these services, the way they treat my dog and me. I highly recommend Goodwin Pike Road.

Originally we took our pup to a different vet bc they also boarded. Recently I took a tour after hearing several positive comments about Goodwin & I was blown away! Zoe did my tour & was fantastic. She answered all my questions & concerns. I immediately booked my dogs next boarding reservation here. They have an indoor salt pool, which is also is solar heated in the winter months! That's right, check out my pics, you can see the doggie hotels from the lobby. They also have separate entrances for dogs & cats. The back play area has astroturf so you don't have to worry about allergies.

After receiving an email my dog was due for a vaccine, I drive 20 minutes away to find out it was inputted wrong. So I decided to see if that could try to trim his nails. Knowing my dog has been difficult before I tell the tech to try but not to do it if he is not cooperating. My puppy comes out with bloodshot eyes, I’ve been told he peed himself and anal secretions?! Then I got charged $40 for a complicated nail trim that I said not to do if he was not feeling it.

We’ve nothing but great experiences with all the staff at Goodwin Animal Hospital. I have never been so happy with our decision to switch. They take their time to talk me through all the choices and answer all my questions. I have my cats going currently and my dogs will be starting when they are due for their next round of vaccines!
