Thank you to Spencer and Brian for the health wellness exam on Mama Cleo today. It was her first vet visit since we adopted her, and it was a positive experience! They gave her a treat that she liked very much! She enjoyed exploring the vet room while she waited to get checked from the doctor! She loved her fish scratch pad gifted to her as a first VCA visit! ? ?

I have nothing but positive things to say, I just moved from Arizona to Sacramento, They happened to be the closest place by me.
Dr. Z and her staff were great. They explained every step of the process. Definitely bringing my other dog here as well. This is a photo of my dog as soon as he got in the truck after the vet. As you can tell his experience wasn’t to bad either.

VCA La Riv has been our vet for decades and is always great. The staff is compassionate and friendly, and knows what they're doing. I also appreciate being able to run in, check in my dog, assess the waiting room situation, then bring in my elderly labrador, instead of having to bring her in with me for check-in right off the bat.

I have a very temperamental Chihuahua and on my very first visit the Veterinarian actually sat on the floor to make my dog more comfortable. It only took a week for my first visit for new patients. The Dr. explains everything really good and gives you quotes before he does other care and he doesn't do any extra treatment that is not needed. He really cares about animals. I love this Vet.

I literally just got home from the vet, and was so happy that I had to write a review right away. Anna, one of their staff members, truly went above and beyond in caring for my baby girl.

My dog is usually very scared and nervous in new environments, especially at the vet. However, Anna's warm and compassionate approach immediately put my dog at ease. It was evident that she has a genuine love for animals, and her patience and understanding made all the difference.

Not only did she provide excellent care, but she also took the time to help my dog feel comfortable and safe throughout the visit. By the end of our appointment, my dog was noticeably less anxious, thanks to Anna's gentle demeanor and reassuring presence. <3

VCA La Riviera was great to us during our dog’s battle with Lymphoma. From the first appointment when we noticed something was wrong they were incredibly attentive and helpful with her care. Dr. Holloran and his team were a great partner to have during this. They answered every question quickly and with detail, spent time going over the results, and fit our dog in last minute multiple times over her battle. She sadly lost that battle 2 weeks ago, and through that final good-bye they were kind, caring, and really took care of our Luna. They even sent a beautiful card afterwards. While we wish that things had turned out different, we felt great comfort in this VCA Team during this experience. Thank you!

Dr. Ziedins is very sincere, caring, accommodating, and kind. She was thoughtfully straightforward with the state of my dear cat Bruno and his options, and I made the decision to say my final goodbye. She expressed great empathy and patience while also being informative and direct. Vet tech Matt (I believe that was their name) was always polite and assisted me with keepsakes of my Bruno and did so with grace and kindness. Vet tech Noah was also always kind and polite. I'm really glad to have shared his last moments with Dr. Ziedins and the rest of the VCA staff ?

VCA La Riviera has been good to us! We take both of our golden retrievers to this location and everyone is professional, pleasant, and attentive. I appreciate when the veterinarians call and/or text after an appointment to check in on the doggies. I trust and would recommend this location.
