My unexpected visit to Pet Urgent Care while on vacation left me feeling secure that I received expert care for my pup in a very stressful situation. I become very protective when I am confronted with an illness or injury to my pet. I was visiting a city that I did not know. It left me feeling very vulnerable to poor care and outrageous charges. I felt relieved when I entered the pet clinic and was greeted with kind and conscientious staff. The vet that treated my dachshund graduated from the University of California Davis. I found her knowledgeable and articulate. She did not treat my dog with unnecessary procedures or recommend over reactive treatment. I was given clear instructions for home care and felt confident that I could manage my dog pain with the medication she provided.

The clinic is bright, clean, easy to reach and had plenty of parking. I will definitely keep the clinic on my contacts list for my next visit.

I have used this Pet Urgent Care twice and both times have been impressed with the care my dog received. We were seen quickly and everyone was friendly, helpful and professional - from the receptionist welcoming us and getting initial information to the vet tech’s initial interactions and assisting all the way to the doctor’s assessment and recommendations. The staff were caring and helpful and I will continue to use this excellent facility whenever i have an urgent medical issue with my pup. I left both times feeling confident that my dog received a great assessment and care. Highly recommend!

Thus office staff was so courteous and made us feel so welcomed and happy to treat my dog. They took us in immediately and wish we had an office like this in our county. It was worth traveling 2 hours for my dog.

Excellent expeience. THANK YOU!!! A month ago Dr. Zach Zimmerman evaluated my cat, cleaned his ears and prescribed ear drops for ear infection. Within 3 days my cat stopped shaking his head and pawing at his ears and is healed, now a month later. It was FANTASTIC making my appt. online on their website and they could see him same day without a 4 hour wait. Check in was so smooth and quick. He was seen right at my appt. time! Dr. Z and staff treated my cat and I great. Our follow-up visit was 1 week later was efficient and quick, in and out in 15 min. and my cat is doing great! Cost was very reasonable for urgent same day appt. Thank you Pet Urgent Care Team!

Amazing professionals who care about your animals. My pup has had a couple different encounters where she needed urgent care. They took her in rather quickly, performed surgery, and sent her home all within hours. The doctors explain themselves and offer follow up care. I trust them with my dogs 100%

Our usual vet advised me to bring my dog in for urgent care, due to his complaints. We arrived on a Saturday morning and were greeted immediately upon arrival, filled out some registration forms online and he was seen no longer than 10 mins after arrival as there were a few people ahead of us. Dr. Clark examined my dog and gave me options for care, and the cost for the visit was so reasonable. I am grateful to the team for taking such good care of my boy. Santo ate a decent piece of a cows cattle horn he’s enjoyed chewing on since he was a baby. Come to find out it’s super toxic and hard chews like that aren’t ideal for dogs. He had bloody stool that didn’t seem to be getting better. He had a visit with the Pet urgent care in La Mesa and they were so sweet. The Vetrinarian on staff answered all of my million questions with patience and a smile. I believe his name was Anthony. I left with not only my peace at mind, but also educated more so on what’s best for Santo. Santo left with fluids given under his skin because of his dehydration and a yummy prescription prebiotic for his sensitive tummy. Tears of joy today. I am so grateful he’s alright? Thank you Pet Urgent Care!! We are ready to hit the road again thanks to you!
