I can’t recommend Mexivet Express enough! Ana and her team provided an incredible service that made a potentially stressful experience smooth and stress-free. I recently had my Bengal cat, Pacino, undergo dental work, and I couldn’t be happier with the process and the outcome.

Ana arranged for Pacino to be picked up from my home for $30 and dropped him off after the procedure for another $30. The team takes pets to a reputable veterinarian in Tijuana, Mexico, which admittedly made me a little nervous at first. However, the consistent communication throughout the process put my mind at ease. I was in touch with Ana, the driver, and other colleagues via text, and all payments were conveniently processed through the Time To Pet app.

During the vet consultation, Ana was on the phone with me, translating everything the doctor was saying. This allowed me to ask any questions or voice concerns directly, which made me feel completely involved and reassured throughout the entire process.

Pacino had three teeth extracted due to tooth resorption. Here in the U.S., I was quoted $900 just to start, excluding bloodwork, x-rays, and extractions, which would have easily pushed the total to nearly $3,000. As someone with seven pets, I want the best care for them but can’t always justify such high costs. With Mexivet Express, Pacino received the same quality care for about $800. This included his dental procedure, bloodwork, x-rays, extra testing for a skin issue, a urinalysis panel, and medications unrelated to his dental work.

I want to emphasize that my pets are extremely well taken care of. I spend over $500 a month to provide them with the best raw food diet, ensuring they have optimal nutrition. They are far from neglected—my entire home and yard have been transformed to be completely cat-friendly, giving them the most enriched and spoiled lives possible. My cats are deeply loved, and their happiness and health are always my top priority.

I was especially impressed by the convenience of Mexivet Express’s service—avoiding the hassle of crossing the border myself and waiting all day was a huge plus. The service charge is included in the package, and the overall experience was seamless. Pacino came home a little groggy from the medication but otherwise happy and healthy.

If you’re on the fence about using their services, I highly encourage you to give it a try—even if you can afford care here in the U.S. The level of care, convenience, and cost savings are truly unmatched. As a self-proclaimed Crazy Cat Mom, I highly recommend Mexivet Express. Ana and her team are incredible, and I wouldn’t hesitate to trust them again.

After 3 vets and $4k spent on my dog without a proper diagnosis, I contacted MexiVet Express. They are amazing. They set me up for the next day. I dropped my blind dog(6yrs old) off in Mission Valley at the drop off site. The driver was so nice. Duggie has his own cage with his name on it. They called me when they crossed the border and the vet called me when Duggie arrived. She went over the consult, ran tests(all of the fees were emailed beforehand) and discovered it was a dental disease. Sedation, scope(bloody nose, couldn't breathe out of his nose, bloody sneezing attacks), teeth extraction, nail trim and more. They called 3 more times to let me know how he was doing. The driver called when he was discharged and I picked him back up at 8pm with his meds. The vets and drivers are the best. The costs are so low. The vet recommended a new diet. His nose bleeds stopped and he is now recovering. I highly recommend their service. I will not go to a vet in CA again.

I flew from Indiana to San Diego 1.5 years ago for MexiVet to save my cat's life from a torn bladder. Not only was the cost of the care in the USA too much, but the recommendations for his care in the US would have killed him. I Trust Mexivet Express more than experts I took him too in the US. I needed to take him again for abdominal swelling this July 2024. I feel the Most comfortable to have his treatment there than anywhere.

We were first time clients. Also, first time dog owners. Our dog injured his leg and was recommended for TTA or TPLO surgery by 2 vets in Chula Vista. The quoted price for the surgery was $4500. That was not including the almost $500 x-rays to confirm the injury. After much research and a couple recommendations from friends we decided to use MexiVet. We have no regrets at all. Anna and Kristin quickly answered every question we had. Rebeca picked up our dog at a meeting point and kept us updated throughout the day while our dog was at the vet. We spoke with the vet on the phone with Rebeca assisting with translation. Our dog had the surgery with no issues and came home the next day. Rachel kept us updated on our dog’s discharge progress throughout the day and her ETA to meet us. Rachel informed us of all the after care instructions and provided the medication from the vet. I am writing this review 3 days after my dog’s TTA surgery. No issues with the surgery so far. This was such a tough choice for us to send our dog to Mexico for surgery. The cost ended up being a little over $2000 total. I will use their services again if I am ever in need and would definitely recommend them to others in this situation.

I am going to start with saying: More people should know about this service!
It is amazing! Plain and simple, professional, caring, on time, the two vets I've spoken to were knowledgeable and professional af! So many more treatment options, and I have to say it ... a very reasonable price, I lost two dogs to cancer in the last year and a half and I believe if I had known about this service i would have had more treatment options financially and I would had have more time with my babies.
Do yourself and your pets a great favor and use this service, it is a hame changer as a pet owner... I can't say enough, how grateful I am to this company!
I know it's scary thinking about your babies going to another country try but once you speak with the Vet you will be amazed, I promise!!!

On the scheduled day, we drove from Los Angeles to San Diego (a two-hour trip) to meet their drivers at one of three convenient handoff locations. Eric, the driver, was punctual, empathetic, and walked us through the plan, reassuring us with his professionalism and genuine care for the dogs.

Throughout the day, Mexivet kept us updated in real-time, relaying information from the vets after each procedure. Having worked with countless veterinarians across the country, I can confidently say these doctors were top-tier professionals: thorough, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented.
We were able to discuss next steps directly with the veterinarians and make decisions on the spot. Medications were provided, and the team broke down the costs transparently, leaving no surprises. When the day was done, Eric returned the dogs to us safely and even shared sweet pictures of them riding comfortably in their spotless vehicle.

Here’s the part that left me absolutely speechless: the total bill, including transportation, was a fraction of what we were quoted in the U.S. Despite the incredible service and high level of care, the cost was so reasonable it made me wonder why every pet owner isn’t using Mexivet’s network.
I am a hard sell when it comes to veterinary care, but Mexivet exceeded every expectation and then some. From Ashley’s efficient communication to Eric’s kindness and the veterinarians’ expertise, this experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
