I strongly do not recommend this Veterinary Clinic. The Vets appear fine, the office clerks at the front are not. I wrote a detailed review on Yelp and then was informed that this business does not show Yelp. I understand why not. The office manager would rather fire the clients of Pet Deport, than to train the office staff on appropriate communication and customer service. The front desk staff, as well as the office manager, are not kind and do not listen. I really wanted to use this clinic, but it was impossible to do so without issues. I gave them a one, but I think the Vet staff is fine, I really wonder if the office manager, just does want she wants and never informs the Vets of all the office clerks mistakes and rudeness.

I took my dog to the vet here, before the switch of veterinarians. The veterinarian who is no longer there, was great. When my dog had an issue, I took him in, and it was taken care of.

The new veterinarian, is not as great. My dog had an “ear infection” a few months ago. I was told that cytology would be performed (which I paid for) to determine the exact cause of the infection. I was then told that he had a bacterial and fungal infection in his ear(s) and a solution would be administered into his ears to treat it, and would work for 30 days.

I was instructed that allergies were the cause of his ear infection, and he needed a Cytopoint injection, which I agreed to. I’m not sure how allergies cause specific bacteria to grow in my dog’s ear(s), but that is what he told me.

After about a month, my dog started scratching his right ear again and I noticed redness in his right ear. I brought him back to see the same vet. This time he told me he was going to put a broad-spectrum antibiotic solution in my dog’s ear to kill all of the bacteria. He didn’t use the term “broad-spectrum”, he dumbed it down for me. Why they charged me, the first time, to determine the exact microbial cause, and then it don’t work, is beyond me.

Both times that I brought him in , he lectured me about food allergies, and how my dog should be but on a prescription diet. The second time I brought him in, he told me that 80% of dog allergies, are environmental, and 20%, are related to food allergies and it is very important that I change his diet to either a prescription diet, or food with no beef or chicken (high allergenic foods?) in it. I still don’t understand the math on that one.

My dog has had problems with itchiness, in the past; I got him Cytopoint injections and a couple of days after the injection, the infection cleared up. Considering Cytopoint is for environmental allergens, and not for food allergies, I would guess that his problem is not food related, but environmental.

After I told the veterinarian that I have been having my own health issues (brain surgery/hemmorages) and can’t afford to pay for a prescription diet or for treatments that my dog doesn’t really need, he continued to tell me that bacteria just doesn’t “jump” inside of my dog’s ears, and that every time I bring him back in, he will continue to tell me about how important it is for me to change his diet.

It has been about a month since I brought him in, and he has the same redness in ONE ear, again.

As a side note, before I brought him into this clinic, he had a total of one ear infection, which was treated at another veterinary office, and cleared right up, right away with systemic (oral pill-form) antibiotics.

This is the third time that the same issue has caused a problem, within a few months, from this vet at this location.

Oh, and guess what? He said, every time I have to bring him back in, he is going to continue to “talk” to me about changing his diet (even though I can’t afford it), nor does he need a change of diet.

It doesn’t matter though, because I won’t be bringing him back.

This place took unbelievably good care of my baby boy, Rocco. We found our veterinarian! The vet techs Kathryn and Christina were caring, professional, responsive, and overall fantastic! I can’t say enough good things about the whole experience. My dog was very sick, and they made him all better. They avoided surgery with their top quality care. I’m so grateful. The vet was amazing as well, we love them. If you take your beloved pet here, they will be in good hands.

They are an extraordinary amazing team. After taking my Bambi for any of the reason I took her for they always called me to ask for my dogs health. Which I found it's a good thing to know, you have a vet that keeps track of the well being of your pets.

Dr Ransom and his staff are the friendliest and most caring vet group I have ever been to! They go out of their way to make both pet and owner feel comfortable. My cat had to have multiple surgeries, and they worked with me to help keep the cost down, as well as show so much love and affection to my kitty during the whole process. I would recommend them to every pet owner around! ❤️

I love this veterinarian. I just moved here recently and I brought my senior dog for a simple checkup. There were some things that had been going on with her for four years that a different vet told me was nothing to worry about and dismissed it. I got here and the Doctor informed me that the symptoms she was displaying could be indications of a much more serious problem. She told me what I could do to get this checked out, but did not push me into making any decisions that would cost a lot of money. I had some test done and my dog had high liver enzymes and a high white blood cell count. This could have been addressed much sooner if my vet elsewhere would have taken the time or initiative. I'm so grateful that I came to this vet to have a general check-up done!

Also, my dog has been more energetic and has stopped displaying some of the symptoms as much as she had before! I truly believe that this vet has given me more quality time with my baby!

Took my dog into to get a teeth cleaning, and was told during the consultation that her teeth looked pretty good and probably did not need any teeth pulled, and reassured me that they would call me if they needed to remove any teeth. I received a phone call that she is out of surgery and they removed six teeth without trying to contact me whatsoever. Do not take your animal here.

Love these Girls, Tica and Tori are wonderful, took very good care of both my babies. They took the time to answer all my questions and make sure that both my babies were happy. The Vet was wonderful too she took her time to check out both my babies and find the best care for both of them. I have been to many clinics and none can compare to the service i received from these wonderful ladies.
